My Warden isn't showing up in the Keep even after 24 hours
AKA
How to access the Diagnostics page of your DA:O profile
So, your Warden is taking her time and won't appear in the Keep no matter what? You've already waited the recommended 24 hours?
- Go to the Legacy Bioware Social Network
- Log in with your Origin account (the same one you are using for Keep).
- Click on the "My Games", "Dragon Age: Origins" in the left menu
- Click on "Profile diagnostics"
- By doing all this, you should get access to Profile Diagnostics for Dragon Age: Origins, looks a lot like this:

If you have some characters there, that have red "X" next to their name delete them (don't worry about orange "!", that one is not important).
They are corrupted and won't be uploaded to the Keep. They may also prevent other characters from uploading. You can't save them, you have to delete them and upload them again.
If you no longer have an access to your game/saves you can just use the free Character Creator
If the "On-line storage summary" in the bottom of the page still says you have your profile full (50 files uploaded), delete some of the Wardens then go back to the game and make a new save.
The characters should appear on the diagnostics page shortly after you do that. However, it will take the character a longer amount of time to appear in the Keep (again up to 24 hours), so be patient.
If there are no Wardens on the DIAGNOSTICS page, read this. Mainly the posts by Jesse Reid.
If you are bored and don't mind a little tinkering, you can try the following (this part is only meant for PC users):
This procedure makes sure your game has it's console disabled, there are no mods, you have the latest patch, you are logged in with the right account and you don't have to care about the DA services running since this version of the game doesn't even use that.
- Uninstall the game (keep the settings, saves)
- Go to the My Documents\BioWare and make a copy of the Dragon Age folder somewhere else, then delete the original folder (really make sure you made the copy, you'll loose your saves if you don't)
- If you bought your game on Steam or on disc, continue reading, if you have it on Origin, skip to step 7
- Download EA's Origin, install it and log in (use the same login and password you are using for the Keep)
- Copy the serial number of the game from Steam (right click the game in the Library, "View game's CD key") // or find the game's box
- In Origin, select "Origin", "Redeem Product Code..." from the top left menu and enter the game's CD key, click "Next"
- Install the game from Origin
- Fire up the game, you should be automatically logged in now (make sure by checking the bottom left corner in the main menu)
- Should a prompt from your firewall appear, make sure you enable the online communications
- Alt+Tab out and go back to the copy of Dragon Age folder you made in step 2, open the Characters subfolder and copy the folders with the base game saves back to the My Documents\BioWare\Dragon Age\Characters (the ones from the base game do not have a number at the end of their name)
- If you think you know what you are doing here, you can also copy back any of your mods, it's not recommended but it CAN work with them (I assume you know where the mods belong to)
- While logged in load a character (force the load if asked to), unequip your helmet and make a new save, repeat that for every character you want in the Keep
- Go back to the Diagnostics page, the Warden(s) should be there now
My Dragon Age Origins Diagnostic site is STILL empty! Where are my characters?
I have abducted them. If you don't send me a cookie, you will never see them again. Or you may try checking if your router or firewall isn't blocking ports needed by the game - these include ports 80, 443, and 18081. I'm not going to write here how to do that though. You'll have to use Google for this one.
