Putting the 0's in leads me to a page that has a button that supposedly leads me to my profile page.  When I click that, all I get is a blank page.  It's a huge circle that gets me nowhere.

Profile Not Found

The requested player does not have any Dragon Age data uploaded.

Tielis's Profile

There is something obviously terribly wrong here because I have a few custom Wardens showing up in the Keep currently.

I don't really follow your logic, you don't put the zeros anywhere, you replace them with a different number. So starting from your profile, you get a number 2287982430, you replace the 0 and that gets you this http://social.biowar...&nid=2287982430 which works. Now you have two profiles here (I dunno why that is), so you take these numbers 1070289142 and 212499570 and the first number will get you this link:

http://social.biowar...e=dragonage1_pc

It's obvious that your profile is full, if you are logged in to your account, you should be able to delete some characters from there.

the first one leads to a full profile. So if you are logged in your account while you click on that link, you should be able to delete some of your characters.

Thank you for getting me to my pages, but I still can't get there the way you just described.  Oh well, I'll just bookmark what you've given me, thanks!

I am one of the people who gets the "Invalid persona/game combination" message. So when are they going to fix it

This has nothing to do with Steam, or syncing, or anything really. That is a message everyone will get when they click the button, even people that already have their Wardens in the Keep. As specified in the first post. You either have a full profile, so no more Wardens get uploaded, or you somehow modified your game, which prevents the files from being uploaded.

I was under the impression that when one deletes all their mods from their game, makes a new save without said mods that it would sync with the Keep. The console is not enabled so. I'm not sure there's anything more I could do.

I really want to thank the author of this workaround :D. It worked like a charm for me, although I had to save/load a character a few times to make sure that the character profile would upload to the diagnostics page/storage. Only when it's there, can the Keep see the character and sync it.

A bit of advice, though, for those who will try this approach :) Make sure that you haven't reached the 50 files per storage limit (like the initial author of the thread has warned), because one character consumes 4 files. In this case if you have multiple Wardens you want synced, you might need to clear up the storage (delete screenshots, etc.)

Likewise with the thanks! I never had issues with the DA2 chars uploading while the closed beta was running, but the Wardens uploaded to a point, then it just stopped working. Turns out, after looking at the pages as outlined in the OP, that I had reached 48/50 files, and since each Warden takes 4 files... you can do the maths. :)

Deleting multiples of the same Warden fixed the problem. Since we don't need the "story" of the Warden, and it doesn't import into the Keep, I didn't need 3 copies of the same Warden (Origins, Awakening, Witch Hunt versions).

For anyone who is wondering, as of today, deleting Wardens off the bioware site did NOT delete these Wardens from the Hero carousel; the new ones were simply added to the ones already there. [this remained the case after 24 hours; it may change if Bioware change it]

ETA: I also wanted to add that I accidentally uploaded one with all of my mods on, and it still worked. So file limit may be the main "invisible" issue.

I think there are a lot of people still, like me (who spent like 200+ hours on a 100% of DA:O and DA2 ) who thought that by getting your wardens into the keep, it would let you import characters, I only realised yesterday in your note thing at the bottom of your profile that YOU CANT. Seriously I would just go with the default looking wardens  - or use the character creator - because I was only really interested in the story and you have to do that in the tapestry anyways...

It works with the mods more times than it doesn't. We could probably put down a list of the most used mods that will prevent characters from uploading (they enable the console for themselves basically) or corrupt the image files, but that seems like too much work to me.

My only contribution is to say congrats on getting pinned.

I have UE but I registered those little icons before I got it.

I've a peculiar situation where it loaded an old character that I've deleted in my saved games. I deleted them in my game and they are on the Keep U_U.

I've a bunch of add ins and mods. I temporarily took them out of the Bioware folder and I still haven't seen anything. Is there any news on progress on this?

Thanks for the help everyone!

it seems I have the exact same issue as WhackyRavenLand. I can't do anything but I don't know how to upload data from dragon age origins at all (unless it's meant to do so on it's own?) none of my warden data from my UE on pc is on my profile. I'm just stumped on how everything is so complicated to get working something should have been done years ago to simplify it. (But again I have no clue. I just played the games :P )

To upload data you just have to enter the game and log in to your origin account (bottom left corner of the main screen) then go play a little and the game does the rest by itself, BUT the issues with synching the ultimate edition are common so it´s not working correctly for some of you.

The character i made with the creator has not dissapeared from the roster on the Keep, and it had the same name as my Warden. Now that character i made is deleted, gone from my bioware profile. 'My' Warden uploaded onto the Bioware server, however, after a few days, it has not transitioned itself into the Keep. So maybe the fact that they have the same first name is preventing mine from uploading.

True, it seems to be an issue with the UE version.  I purchased the UE for the xbox after playing a lot with another used copy I got from my cousin.  Now, some of my older characters have uploaded and synced into the Keep.  Used copy and unregistered.  But it doesn't matter if it's the old copy or new one (UE), which is registered...there is no damn way for me to access anything regarding those data uploads or gameprofile for DAO, be it UE or not. Also using the stand alone editor didn't do anything either. Same problem :P

Oh well, I'll just use one of my older characters in the Keep since the choices doesn't matter anyways :P  Good riddance to this headache and back to counting down the days until the Inquisition begins!  ;)

My old characters from my Xbox version haven't appeared :( but then again I lost my data on the Xbox after I tried to transfer all my data to my new Xbox and it all vanished. You can imagine what I felt like

That and I don't think I registered my Xbox version on the BSN or connected to the internet at all with my Xbox version

If you no longer have your saves and you don't like the faces and or names of the default Wardens, just download the Dragon Age Character Creator for PC, it's free.

So exciting news people. DAO profiles are now back online. No more need for my workaround.

My main Warden Dragon Age: Origin is still having trouble synching the portrait and avatar image into the keep.  Both have red x's.  At least his name, race:human noble and rogue is right but it's the ugly default looking pic. I've deleted the character file on the BioWare diagnostic but still the same result even when playing in game and saving.  PS3

I had no trouble with Dragon Age:2 Hawke avatar image.  At least that's working!  PS3

I have a save world state ready to play.  I'm up in the air about my decision on Mage vs Templar.  I've done both.  First Mage then Templar.  I can't believe Orisino! Idiot. My Hawke is a mage (dislikes blood mages) and brother is a Templar.  This should be interesting.  (I had killed his brother in the deep roads but quickly reloaded didn't know about bringing Anders... poor Hawke)

Update for Nov 6th:

Both of my custom characters from Dragon Age: Origin and Dragon Age: 2 (PS3) have imported their profile picture and name successfully!  Whoohoo! :)

Okay, this is probably a stupid question but, if only to rule it out, are you sure that the email address attached to your Origin account is exactly the same as the email address attached to the gamertag/profle you use to play DA:O?

Just a thought. I'm having the same problem (on XBox though, not Steam). I haven't cracked it yet but my latest line of enquiry is suggesting that it may be because the system doesn't recognise "xyz@gmail.com" as being the same as "xyz@googlemail.com" ). D'oh!

Yup, it is the correct email adress. I think it has to do with my game, I played it with mods enabled. Never used the console though, I uninstalled all the mods and made sure the console wasn't enabled in anyway. My Champion importatnt in a matter of minutes, *minutes* when I started using the Keep for the first time (back in mid October). My Warden hasn't shown up yet. Could I uninstall my Origins game but keep the saves, then just reinstall and use that to sync with the Keep? It could root out any weirdness with the install I have now wilst still keeping my character. That's the one thing I haven't tried yet.

I have no idea if that would work, I'm afraid. So many people seem to have different reasons for Wardens not importing, anything's possible!

Since the Keep doesn't actually carry forward any game decisions with your Warden however (just the name and appearance), have you tried recreating your character(s) in the standalone DA:O Character Creator? I've used that to recreate four different Wardens and - despite the problems I'm having with the in-game Wardens - that's worked fine each time. Just hit Upload once you've recreated them and they should appear in the Keep around 30 minutes later.

If you haven't already tried that, you can download the CC for free from FilePlanet.

Yup. It's almost identical to the in-game DA:O Character Creator, except it has an Upload button at the end!

Must be worth trying before you uninstall and reinstall the whole game, I'm sure.  (It'll be quicker for one thing!)
