Absolutely nothing.

The Maker if you remember has a host of servants, a veritable army that brought the very worship of those dragons crumbling down.

Well the scant remnants that remained after the blight anyway; Point being, supporting the worship of the Maker is actually embracing reality, the future.

Not clinging to the past like a delusion child who refuses to see the world has changed immensely; the fact Tevinter it self has given up the worship of the dragons, that their temples have become something more should be telling, if the very inventors of the religion have abandoned it, what is the purpose of joining a dead faith?

And on the other hand... dragon.

Can I get a bidding war going here for my eternal soul?

Dumat has no desire to bid for anyones soul nor does he need to. That is a preoccupation of false faiths and a nonexistent god called the Maker. Either worship and show faith or do not.

But yet here we remain. There is no defeat, there is only silence. There is only Dumat. The gods see and hear you even if you choose not to hear them.

I have returned faith children of Dumat. Now that Corypheus is finished with his silliness, let us return to the business of the glorification of Dumat!

Only one god in all of existence is capable of causing entire cities to disappear without a trace, what's his name? Oh right it's Dumat!

Dumat's high priest is pretty hot.

He was, but he strayed and betrayed the golden god. So his prayers only moments before his demise were ignored. Corypheus blasphemed and imagined himself an equal...the gall.

Well, maybe if you didn't live up to your namesake and go all silent . . . he would kneel.

Silence is not always golden, especially when it falls like a dark shadow over the land--dead whispers. For even the fool, when he holds his tongue, is counted wise.

Er, wasn't Arlathan destroyed by the elves themselves?

Words mortals often hurl at the darkness. Once they were mine.

Anyway, just let me get my vestments from the dry cleaners, blood sacrifice always leaves such pesky stains.

Dumat is no demon possessed dragon. He is god. No demon or dragon could cause an entire city and its people to vanish from existence leaving nothing but an empty plains and pathway. That is no demon possessed dragon nor an ancient dragon, but a god. A big badass draconic deity.

Yes,  a god who appreciates language and who likes alliteration, and yet, gets pissy and decides to never speak to his most faithful priest. So. There's that.

Corypheus blasphemed and turned against Dumat and renounced him. He then began his misbegotten quest to become lord of all creation. Only in his moment of defeat did he turn back to Dumat begging for his aid, not out of faith but out of fear.

If we consider that Dumat can equal the Hakkon he may be alive, but the paradox of Warden leads us to his death .

Dumat and Hakkon are vastly different entities. Hakkon is a mere spirit. Dumat is a god, and eternal. All the warden destroyed was his corrupted physical form. In DA 2 when Corypheus begs Dumat for power, a power is always granted. Also if sacrifices are performed at his altar you are rewarded.

But if we consider the paradox of Warden, Dumat is well dead, like the Warden who killed him.

A soul cannot be destroyed. Especially not a divine one. thecwarden merely freed himself and Dumat from twisted shells. He did Dumat a service.
