In my opinion, advertising that the game has 100+ abilities while maximum ability slots are 32 (8 x 4 members) sounds not quite settling for many people, except if 70% are passive. I see a lot of people do complain, while I also understand that console gamers will inevitably face this problem (most of people complaining are PC gamers). Is it possible to increase the number of slots?

Well personally I find that predefined "Tactics" may help eliminate this problem... Just predefine every ability that you don't use it manually

The reason I post here even though the problem is not personally a dealkiller because I find it annoying when people keep saying they are not going to play this game if the PC user interface is like what we have recently seen. Ability slots UI is one thing, inventory UI is another... (though I have no suggestion on it since I am fine even with Skyrim oversimplified vanilla UI - I simply keep remember every stats in my head). This is not exactly my business but I want to help this game to be nearer to perfection.

Out of topic: will there be the return of stealing stuff in DA:I? Or the position of the inquisitor prevent us to do so?

FFXIV had genius controls for PS3/PS4. You could quickly use a bazilion of abilities with a dualshock controller, as well as doing a lot of quick stuff with menus.

Having said that, when controlling a party, I think it's cool to not have so many abilities at once per character. I like the amount the game offers, though I haven't played it yet.

They said 8, in DAO and DA2 I had only 6 so I'm actually pretty glad about it
