I started using the Keep and it failed to detect my Origins characters. I therefore grabbed a default character and got to work on remembering my choices. It did detect my DA2 characters so I chose one of those.

 

However, going back to the Heroes menu, my Origins characters have now been detected. I want to switch to my imported character, but I don't see how - there's no button for selecting a different character.

 

Any ideas on how to do this? I've tried creating another world state but that hasn't changed the hero.

Just click on hero in the DA:O tapestry and select a new one from the list.

But how do I select it? There's no button saying Accept Choice or whatever it's called. Another default character remains having a red bookmark above their head and they're clearly the one still selected.

Huh. That's weird. There should be a giant "Approve This Hero" button right under the pictures. 

 

Not sure if this will help, but try a different browser and disable any adblock stuff you may have running.

You may have to enlarge your browser's screen since there should be a scroll bar. If you have any script blockers enabled that could be blocking the text. If that doesn't work try another browser.

you could always go back and re-sync your data again. that seems like a pain in the ass but it may work.

I've disabled AdBlock etc and tried on three different browsers. The button isn't there

Thanks for reassuring me that it is an issue though, I feel I can do something about it now.

Eh? I'm not sure what you mean, though I just put it in full screen and there's no difference. I'm using a 1920x1080 screen - maybe there's a scroll bar on smaller laptop screens? There certainly isn't one here. Idk.

That is your problem. Go to the Tapestry to select a character not the Heroes tab. Specifically click on Hero, and the first tile which has a name under it.

you could always go back and re-sync your data again. that seems like a pain in the ass but it may work.

I just tried to do that. I re-synced it and the old default character is still selected when I go to "Choose a Hero". I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong.

That is your problem. Go to the Tapestry to select a character not the Heroes tab. Specifically click on Hero, and the first tile which has a name under it.
