But they will fill up the Avenger slots with Spiderman now in the post infinity war films probably. More rounded team.

I vote they give Miles Morales a chance. No idea who could play him...

I say we commemorate this momentous occasion with Italian Spider-Man.
Well, at least I finally know where that face gif came from...

I don't know... I definitely like Spidey in the MCU.
I just don't trust Sony to get its grubby hands on making Spider-Man movies on their own after he introduced. I can see a LOT of school yard shouting and arguments when it comes to how those movies are made and how "incorporated" they are into the rest of the Marvel stories.
Clouded, this news' future is. Masked by it's youth.

I'm happy About the news, expecially if the MCU film in Which he'll First appear Will be Civil War.
Why? CW was character derailment for everybody involved. Nobody came out of it looking good.

Because I think Spiderman is very important for CW, though it's True the movie isn't going to be exactly the same. Why? CW was character derailment for everybody involved. Nobody came out of it looking good.
Regardless of My opinion, CW is the movie that makes more sense Between the ones Before the Spiderman movie to introduce him.

To me, this proves that Sony was struggling to handle the franchise on their own. I was disappointed with Spider-Man 3 and I never liked the Amazing Spider-Man films, so I'm confident that Marvel Studios will rein them back a bit.

While Spider-Man becoming a part of the MCU is good news. I'm still hoping that Fantastic Four and Sliver Surfer are brought into the MCU. They are pretty much moving the entire MCU to the Thanos Quest and Infinity Gauntlet story. It would be a shame if the MCU had to leave hero's like Silver Surfer out of it.

Hopefully. The movie completely bombs and Fox has to take what ever offer Disney/Marvel puts on the table.

I totally think that Spidey is going to brought in for Civil War, but I just don't see why he has to. Yes, he was a huge character in the series, but he can be filled in by nearly anyone else that has a secret identity. Granted - there's not many in the MCU. But you can fill that role of "secret super hero who has their life exposed" by any of the characters from the upcoming Netflix Dardevil show and meet that requirement.
Still - not looking a gift comic book movie in the mouth.

Michael B. Jordan will make that movie successful enough to survive. So sayeth the Fast Jimmy.

I wouldn´t say he was that big in it. There was the wallbanging unmasking (if anybody knows the dangers of foes knowing who you are under the mask, it´s him), switched sides, no input in the resolution. He was a pov character for the pro-reg side, but it´s not like anybody else couldn´t fit that role. Then came the Mephisto deal and I dropped all titles where he appeared.
For that matter, it´s hard to see RDJ Stark going pro-reg, Cap doesn´t fit the "law before good" type, and there are no other leaders. It could be the goverment vs the metahumans instead of meta vs meta, which would work better imho. Then Thanos arrives and the goverments can deal with him on their own. Things can´t get worse than a publicly outed psycho given control of global security.

I didn't mean that Spidey has to appear in CW. I meant (in y first post) that I'm happy if he's in, and Since if seems he'll appear in a MCU movie before his own, CW is the One that makes more sense.I totally think that Spidey is going to brought in for Civil War, but I just don't see why he has to. This is a leaked scene for Age of Ultron where RJD Tony Stark talks about how the Avengers are a stop gap way to address the problem and there needs to be a program to stop things like Ultron from getting out of hand, while Cap saying freedom isn't free, it costs folks like you and me (freedom costs a buck o' fiiiiiiiiiiiiiive). It's been heralded as the foreshadowing of the two being on opposite sides during Civil War, just like the comics.

Yeah, it will be nice. I've just seen too many people say "there's no way they could do Civil War without Spider-Man!" before and it just didn't make sense.
