Yeah, I had a feeling that would happen.
Since that was the original idea for the film.
Shame about Garfield. But it was to be assumed this would happen.
Hope they keep the ASM2 suit though.

Yes, That was in the original announcement. But still, Both Nick Fury and Black Widow also has unscheduled solo movies. And I don't think they'd happen anytime soon. I also don't think that we'll get to see The Sinister Six movie any time soon.

I'm Not worried. I was expecting a young Spidey for continuity reasons (it wouldn't make sense if Peter was Spiderman before The Avengers) Anyway.Yes, I had read that too. After hyping and celebrating, I took to reading and analyzing the deal thoroughly, I have truly realized that Marvel has caught Sony by the balls and this is only a first step in a scheme to get Spidey's right fully back. Ownership and everything. Smart, But risky. As they still don't have full creative control over Spidey, Sony gets to say Yes or No in the matter, A final creative ownership as it was described. However, One mistake could blow Spidey to hell therefore creating a problem in the MCU. And I don't want any creative problems in the MCU at all. But i guess after the Sony hack, Sony has been pretty much compromised. And i that's why i think whatever Marvel/Disney has in mind is gonna work. But let's wait and see.

I'm fairly certain Marvel has said they don't want to do Origin stories for their movies anymore.
I say just get it all explained quick in the first 2 minutes. And get on with the movie.

I still have enough faith in Marvel to believe they'd do the right thing. Whatever that is. I believe that they actually had plans of possible scenarios if they get Spider-Man back and I'm sure they're starting to work on the most efficient one now.

Marvel wouldn't have changed its Phase 3 slate and pushed the release date of 4 of their movies if they weren't sure they could totally control the creative material of Spider-Man. That's what kept the deal from being struck before. That's what Marvel wanted but Sony refused to give away. But now things are different. Point is, Marvel knows what they're doing.

I'm kinda hoping that Spidey won't be a teenager yet again, even the college age Spidey has been done to death. Why can't we show him working as a photographer for the Bugle and in his mid-to-late twenties, having been Spiderman for a couple years at this point? After all, Banner's been the Hulk for a while before we encounter him in both the Avengers and Incredible Hulk, with only a brief explanation of his backstory to get us up to speed?
Sure, having him be Spiderman for a while might raise the question of why we've never heard any peep from him before in the MCU, since a guy web-slinging around New York seems like it'd be news? Or where he was during the events of Avengers?
I suppose they could handwave it away that SHIELD had enough on their plate after the events of Avengers, The Dark World and the Winter Soldier to deal with him? And during the Avengers, he was instead focussing on protecting the civilians more than actually fighting back the Chitauri?
