I actually i prefer her over Thor. I still haven't read any of her issues since she lifted Mjolnir, But she fits the role of thor better than Thor himself.

^ I don't get it.

It's funny because of Hulk's arm pit?

They reuse the same Ultron Sentry pose.

Again it was 1 am at the time.

Not particularly hyped about Spidey. I wanted him to join the MCU no sooner than Phase 4 and only under 100% control of Marvel Studios...  :?

So the Bloated stupidity of the Marvel Zombies are getting 2 series for Secret Wars.

Because Marvel is in love with these stupid things, even though the dead horse they've been beating with it is now just a pile of red mush.

But hopefully. By the end of Age of Ultron Vs. Marvel Zombies Ultron will finally remove their filth from the Multiverse. Permanently.

And in the versesless Marvel Zombies title, the awesomeness of Elsa Bloodstone does the same.

Yeah they get to inhabit 2 different sections of Battleworld.

I'll be pissed if they get survive Secret Wars if that's not apparent. Because the absolute hate I feel for those things is almost unrivaled.

/rant.

yeah I like her my self but they are going down the Ellen rout where her being female is her only defining trait. and id rather her be a character who happens to be female.

Another thing that bothers me about Fox's X-Men is Mystique. She was just poorly portrayed in the original x-men movies and the prequels as well.

As opposed to who? In the comics only Magneto has a worse multiple writer personalty disorder.

On topic, I really would like to see the reaction of a movie fan picking up a comic in the store lookung for something in the same spirit.

As opposed to her potential. The thing is, The essence of a Comic book movie is its narrative, Not what's based on.

That's why I feel they should've went the Beta Ray Bill route instead of "Female Thor"

Potential as what? If you don´t take her original characterization as a reference, I just don´t get why you don´t like the movie version, who at least in the last 2 films actually was a character and not a card carrying villain.

Is anyone reading Thor? I feel curious about it, but from reading some previews things such as Odin behaving as a chauvinist idiot make me wonder if the author is miswriting characters to make his points across.

I'm not talking about her original characterization and i do not support her adaption in the early X-Men movies either. My point is, Comics are full of cliches, Once they get adapted into movies, You get to remove these cliches. I want a Mystique that's strong and independent and is her own woman. Not someone who follows Magneto or Professor X.

Joss Whedon has spoken about that particular point when he was discussing Ultron, That in the movies you have to ground things a bit. Here's the link:

Isn't he in his mid 40s now?
I'm all for an older Spider-Man but I was thinking mid 20s to early 30s.

He'll be hitting his 40's this year.

But yeah. I really struggle to see him fitting into the MCU.

I really doubt they'll want to bring him back.
Speaking of back, he didn't even want to do Spider-Man 3 because of back problems, how come he's suddenly on board in his forties?

dude i had this 5 page argument whith a feminist regarding this. she sats the whole "she is a girl thats all we need." is a goodthing. for getting her own argument about smurfetts.

no i have no problem whith there being a female Mjolnier weilder. or even her being granted the name Thor by Thor. but that whole Titania thing gave me a bad taste.

hay she is working out and being pretty good but thet are pandering abit to mutch if they want to sell her to me.

ok i got called a sexist for not jumping up and down and loveing her straight away but i pointed out that Thunderstrike was Hated at the start and i would have loved Venom to have been the Concept female he was supposed to.

Meh im still wateing for them to dig the grave. SJWs are fickle.

Sigh, so much for coherent writng. Sometimes I wonder why I keep looking from time to time if they´ve gone back to write characters over plots, but no. And then they wonder why comic sales keep going down.
