Is it me or did a certan character just get sidelined as soon as he popped up?

 

If we're thinking of the same character, yep. A lot of content with him must of been cut to oblivion. Lets hope an extended cut rectifies that.

Well just finished seeing Ultron it was alright but Ultron himself dissapointed me, the trailers show him to be more intimidating but in the actual movie he's too goofy.

This. That segment where Ultron beats Tony to his own jokes was great for, y'know, laughs, but it also fully explained why he was acting like that in the first place.

If only Vision had had some more killer jokes to go along with that. He was funnier as JARVIS than he was as Vision, with the sole exception of "He does hate you the most!"

He's evil robot Tony Stark. That's literally the pitch meeting for the character.

Iron Man: Stane is Tony but without any of his conscience and wants to exploit the suit's tech for profit.

Iron Man 2: Vanko is a Russian, disaffected Tony with similar father issues, but used his genius for revenge.

Iron Man 3: Killian was a dorkier Tony, but instead of arms profiteering, decided to instead actually start wars to sell his tech.

 

And remember that moment in the first Avengers when Tony has that horrible realisation he's describing himself as well as Loki?

 

"And Loki, he's a full-tilt diva, right? He wants flowers, he wants parades. He wants a monument built to the skies with his name plastered... sonofa-"

tbh, Thanos is enough of a beast to solo most of the Marvel universe.

But in the movies he's probably going to use more Chitauri.

Bringing up Wonder Woman with no relation to anything Marvel was the problem.

How can an army of Baymaxes be a threat to The Avengers? His exterior is made of a vinyl that is non-lethal to living beings. Unless he suffocates them somehow...
