I'm back.

Age of Ultron was alright.

The Natasha/Hulk stuff was definitely the weakest part though.

Also unneeded. Hulk has a love interest. Betty Ross. Incredible Hulk is still canon so...

But yeah, wasn't bad. I had fun.

Personally I doubt the Hulk/Widow thing is gonna last long

Hope not.

But other than that, yeah, I enjoyed the movie.

Because every FF4 movie by Fox thus far has been total crap?

And I will never forgive them for how they treated Galactus in Rise of the Silver Surfer...

Ew. No. That filth isn't allowed to be discussed here.

Unless it's about how awful and overblown Marvel Zombies is.

Not sure what this supposedly big deal about Joss Whedon and SJWs is now, but it's probably better that way.

The movie had a boring trite romance that didn't contribute anything to the plot. Because Whedons golden age has passed.

But to an SJW that means it was sexist and evil.

And then he deleted his Twitter account? Oh the drams. Much new low for social justice.

But yeah. I liked Firefly.

He has a long history of having his work put down. I think he's just gotten tired of it.

I do too. Firefly is great.

And Doctor Horrible.

What's going on with the Joss Whedon harassment?

What happened with Joss Whedon on Twitter ? Social Justice Weasles just backstabbed and ate one of their own, which is something they do all the time.

His crime ? Not being like them enough. Not being pro social justice enough. Not being feminist enough.

Can't say I have sympathy for the man. He was very pro-Sarkeesian when there was no reason to do so, he called a certain scene in Jurassic World sexist when he has such scenes in his own movies, etc. He allied himself with these people knowing full well what kind of people they are.

Bed. Made. Lie.

He is just experience the consequences of cavorting with these kinds of people. His experiences are not that different from a high school kid that hangs around the wrong crowd and consequently get f**ked. Hopefully he learns from this lesson. Though I doubt he will.

Here is a link to show you the epic clusterf**k that is taking place :- https://storify.com/...on-twitter-hate

As someone who enjoys Whedon's films and series but not his stance of social issues, I am laughing my arse off, getting a Schadenboner and enjoying the fiasco. Its not every day you see social cannibalism.

Ok, reading through that.

Where was the rape and racism stuff from?

I don't remember any of that in the movie.

Just saw some of the comments made by Joss. It's a shame. I like his work but this guy is a total tool. He seems more concerned about pushing agendas and catering then focusing on solid and good writing. He is just another SJW that loves assuming what other people are thinking. This whole deal with him in twitter just seems like karma bitting him on the ass.

Its Social Justice Weasles.

They tend to label anything they dislike, even if it is someone who is their ally with buzzwords like racist, racism, rape, etc.

I know those are not buzzwords but Social Justice Weasles turn them into pejorative buzzwords.

So it doesn't really matter that there was no racism or rape in the movie. What mattered to these people was that Joss Whedon was not extreme enough and so he gets to have names and labels that are totally unrelated to the movie or him slapped on him.

Because feels.

Don't ask me to figure out the logic behind this. There is no logic.

At that time, prior to him leaving Twitter, he still thought he was one of them, one of the Borg...not realizing that the Borg is not excommunicating him from their tribe / echo chamber for not be like them all the way...

I guess at some point he did get it and now he is off Twitter...I hope he takes a long break because he definitely has earned it, stop being a Social Justice Weasel shill and then make more Firefly episodes.

I enjoyed the movie. I found Ultron to be best villain so far in Marvel. Kinda funny how human he was despite his appearance.

Well I don't read comics, and Avengers 2 was the first time I had ever heard of Ultron. I knew nothing about him, and went into the movie that way, hence why it took me by surprise.

And that's Ant-man btw.

Ultron Was a metaphor for human like robots. all be it not a Mentally stable one.

I think they did a lot of things really well.

Both Vision and Ultron's introduction into the universe made a lot of sense, narratively. The action scenes were REALLY well done. I'd recommend IMAX 3D if it is available - well worth the extra four bucks. And I actually cared about Hawkeye for once, instead of feeling like he was tacked on.

My problem now is really Agents of Shield. The show, despite me liking it, needs to die. It is introducing super powered people left-and-right now and it's throwing the movies into disharmony. Deadlock is much better support than Hawkeye and Skye now seems to be able to ninja-kill people as easily as Black Widow but has the literal potential power to move mountains, which puts her above tier with anyone except maybe Thor or Hulk. Plus we now have a true psychic/oracle, which should play into the larger story of the universe but never will. And at the end of Ultron, we have most of the Avengers folded into the existing structure of SHIELD, of which Coulson is the Director... except no one in the movies knows he is still alive.

Silliness.

No, it was the Well of Uror, tied to the Norns. The fact that it was just glazed over to me says that was the location of some rather huge cute (the hour that someone mentioned earlier seems likely).

Just wait till Jessica Jones and Luke Cage get introduced Jimmy  :P

You'll get even madder.

Also was I the only one that thought Hawkeye was the best part of Age of Ultron?

Because while Ultron had his moments. He's not as cool as his comic self and doesn't look enough like a bunny.
Wilson Fisk remains the best MCU villain IMO.
