Just wait till Jessica Jones and Luke Cage get introduced Jimmy
You'll get even madder.
Also was I the only one that thought Hawkeye was the best part of Age of Ultron?
Because while Ultron had his moments. He's not as cool as his comic self and doesn't look enough like a bunny.
Wilson Fisk remains the best MCU villain IMO.
I really like Fisk. If he had the power of Ultron, the movie would have ended pretty horribly.
And yeah, I'm fine with comic book players being introduced like Luke Cage or Iron Fist... but neither of them can tip the balance of power the way some powers can.
We've got an immortal who can heal any wound, someone who can generate and control lightning, someone who can teleport (and apparently hear...?) anywhere on the globe, someone who can see the future, Skye (with the power to control the vibrations of anything, which can mean pretty much any sort of power they want to), plus who knows what other powered people... all just hanging out in a village, chilling out.
In the comics, huge events played out frequently where everyone all joined together and had crossover issues where their powers all came into play. The Avengers movies are the equivalent of that, but those in second tier sources like TV shows will never be called to the big leagues. Which is fine with a show like Daredevil or Agent Carter. But AoS is now introducing pretty regularly equal-tier level characters who will never be even considered for the movies, despite their obvious value (in story terms) of being there.
It just doesn't make a lot of sense to me. SHIELD should be about fighting humans, not supers. They shouldn't have a single character in the show that coildn't be bested by Captain America in a one-on-one confrontation, let alone a power like Iron Man or Thor.
