The prima noctis joke? Sure, that's probably in bad taste, but that's Tony Stark. He IS a bit of a sexist and he certainly objectivifies women. It's just strange to complain about in-character writing.

I imagine the racism stuff is probably tied to Rhodes/War Machine being the obvious but monkey of the Avengers.

So overall the complaints are pretty groundless. At least in my view.

Though the Black Widow scene was pretty ridiculous. But I should add I haven't wasted my time with this nonsense so I don't know what Whedon is accused of doing. I just think equating not being able to have kids with being an uncontrollable rage monster is pretty nonsensical.

Yep it was the Prima noctis joke the bit where Nat gets held captive even though its obvious she could escape in 10 seconds and was useing the time to gather intell.

From my understanding, the racist thing comes from the casting of Wanda. Since Scarlet Witch is half Roma and half Jewish, having a white actress play her has been deemed as racist by some. Some people were also peeved that she sided with the pseudo Nazis considering her fictional ethnic background.

This movie actually surprised me. I thought Ultron was boring, his character made little sense for an AI and his motivations were incoherent and I was quite bored by the middle of the movie.

But then, they actually started to spend some time developing the Avengers themselves in ways I did not see coming (Hulk traveling in the plain to space so he wouldn't anyone again and Hawkeye's interactions with Wanda were particularly poignant) and I actually found myself worried characters would die. In a Marvel movie!

I don't agree with the criticism of the casting, I am just stating what I heard regarding the racist accusations. Besides, the Twins' backstory is now completely different from anything presented in the comics. They now have no set ethnicity beyond the fictional Eastern European country of Sokovia.

And how does a meteor, which he intended to use to cause an extinction event, help anyone evolve? Extinction is not evolution.
Or was evolution only for himself? Then what was the point of the meter to begin with?
And why are the Avengers the worst of humanity?

He means the evolution of life in general. The meteor that killed the dinosaurs allowed a more adaptable and smarter life form to come about.

Humans.

He wants to do the same to humans, wipe them out and make a new, superior species to replace them, which is why he was making Vision in the first place.

The Avengers thing is because he's overly dramatic.
