94' Spider-man is alright. I thought the ending was disappointing but the series as a whole is entertaining. The Spectacular Spider-man (2008) is probably the best animated version but I think everyone's seen that by now.

I had a ending? I thought it got cancelled

It was cancelled and had an ending. The creators knew how many episodes they had left. So they ended it with a bit of a cliffhanger just in case they were allowed to do more. It was a rushed last season but was considered completed.

You mean that scene with Madam Web and them talking about finding Mary Jane?

I'm watching Thor 2 right now and: other than why I paid money for this; I am just wondering where are the Avengers? Why is Thor the only one reacting to the second alien invasion in the space of months?
You're telling me Fury can't get Steve, Natasha and Clint together real quick to go deal with it?

Eh. The entire event lasts less than an hour in Britain with Thor giving no one any advance notice. I'm not sure it's that far of a leap that Captain America would be there.

Now... what bothers me? War Machine, which works for the US Military, is not found at all in Winter Soldier, when the threat involves GIANT AIRBORNE GENOCIDAL HELICARFIERS FLYING OVER THE NATION'S CAPITAL. One would think they would have had him on hand just in case a mechanical malfunction had happened to prevent one from falling down on the city r something, let alone working security for the event, given that he is the most valuable airborne asset of the entire military.

You can't convince me War Machine shouldn't have at least been explainedas an absence, if not directly seen and involved, during those events of Winter Soldier.

Well the government didn't know they weren't in control of those carriers until after they fell. Plus they probably felt comfortable with SHIELD having all their people guarding the event and trusted they would have had safety measures in place for such a disaster scenario.

You can make up any number of excuses for War Machine not to be there. Hydra's people in the government had him running war games on the other side of the world, Warmachine's suit was being taken in for repair, or he was off having his own adventure taking out a tyrannical dictator, etc.

But really... the American government has been pretty lax with their security over their capital. Don't forget that someone flew a gyro-copter right onto capital lawn a month ago.

Don't forget how SHIELD was nowhere when "The Mandarin" was making threats and kidnapped the President in Iron Man 3

Shield not showing up in Iron Man 3 and Thor: The Dark World is because of Hydra.

I don't blame them for not knowing about HYDRA, but you can't tell me the US government didn't know SHIELD was building three massive helicarriers right underneath downtown Washington D.C. and didn't have a care in the world about it. Just seems silly that a massive aerial military operation in the nation's capital wouldn't justify them calling in their most powerful aerial military asset, even just in case.

Hydra seems to have been infiltrating the gov't on the public service side too. For all we know the military subcommittee responsible for overseeing the Shield budget was chock full of HYDRA, which led to this being a cover up.

Fair enough, but we are shown that the Iron Man suits can fly cross-continent in less than an hour, or even across the other side of the planet in less than six. I just find it hard to believe that Rhodey wouldn't have strapped the suit on and gotten on the scene if DC was under attack, direct orders or not.

I get why they didn't include him, just seems silly within the lore.

Oh, I agree it's silly. I just think they can handwave away the carrier build.

Well, Thor is stuck restoring order until the end of Dark World. And even with him on Earth following that, he likely was spending all his focus on finding the staff given to Loki (and being in Europe in general given that's where all his friends are staying), making him unlikely to just drop by in time for an Amwrican crisis.

Tony was (at least in theory) out of the super hero game after blowing up all his suits at the end of IM3 (but that was apparently not even a speed bump to him going back on his word and building a small armada of Iron Man drones and suits prior to Age of Ultron).

Hulk is... well, he's a private guy who doesn't show up without an expressed invite.

To me, War Machine was the only character who should have, without a doubt, been on the scene for a huge military operation in the capital of the military he serves in.

Well, Hawkeye should've been present in TWS, but Renner had already other projects.
I wonder if they'd have still introduced Falcon if Renner wasn't Busy.

Falcon would still appear, I remember reading that Hawkeye's role was him "supposedly" hunting Capt. and they would have a fight scene
