Falcon would still appear, I remember reading that Hawkeye's role was him "supposedly" hunting Capt. and they would have a fight scene

Thanks.
Speaking Of Cap, does anyone think that after IW they'll decide to switch to Falcon or Bucky?

Probably Bucky because he signed on for more movies

What if Sebastian Stan...is a relative of Stan Lee?

Then again, we have three Chrises so far in the MCU...

am I the only one who actually liked the Daredevil movie? Aside from the cheese in the park scene, I loved it.

Usually the complaints amount to "I don't like ben affleck" which...okay? that doesnt say why the movie would be bad though.

Not feeling the Netflix show, by comparison.

Wow. Those two statements are the most anti-thesis of my own viewing preferences.

Bad performances (Aside from Colin Farrell and Micheal Clarke Duncan (But between him and Vincent D'Onofrio, he doesn't stack up), who just didn't care, which means they're still bad, but entertainingly so).

Terribad, dated, emo-rock soundtrack (Unless you like Evanescence, in which case, get out)

Awful CG (Spider-Man 1 looked better, and that movies effects hasn't aged well at all)

Poorly choreographed fights (That have too much CG, and jarring editing that takes out all the flow and tension)

Leather Fetish DareDevil Suit (Worked for X-Men, doesn't work here)

The Big Flaming Ds.

Matt Murdock just suddenly becomes a good fighter, despite Stick not being present in the movie. He just gets good because eye chemicals.

Matt Murdock sleeps in a coffin of Water. How and why is beyond me.

Jennifer Garner as Elektra. Ok. Sure. That's good ca-hahahaha I can't finish that statement.

Daredevil is a godawful movie. A terrible product of its time only made because they thought they could make easy money from if they just copy-pasted tropes from Blade, X-Men, and Spider-Man.

Marvel's Daredevil is amazing.

When I check in to see how you guys are doing, I don't like seeing some hipster constantly defending the worst of Marvels Filmography.

Those was some of the most biased, BS filled videos I've ever seen.

like that bs about how he's "Terrible at his job, human lie detector but still can't win a case"?  Yeah that's not because he's not good, it's because its all rigged by Mafia.  The guy doing the vid is an idiot.  It's like he never saw the movie, but just talking trash.

Anyways, its still leaps and bounds better than most other superhero films. (FF, Spiderman, Hulk, Superman, MOST of the Batman films, etc, etc).

I love it for managing to stay true to the source but still be cool.  Plus the fight scenes were awesome.

But another note.

I'm normally SERIOUSLY AGAINST replacing the original comic characters with the movie/tv show versions (re: Nick Fury, teen titans, Whiplash, etc) but....I wouldn't be against Marvel bringing in Disney's take on GoGo :3

So much better than the original (Left), whose powerset was essentially a poor mans Speedball.  I like how Disney's Gogo is essentially Tron+The Flash.  Its an awesome combination.

GoGo-Big-Hero-6-comparison.jpg

Also I wonder if Disney and Marvel understand just how much hotness they made with that redesign.

*Pictures GoGo in a quarian suit*

OMG.

Going down the list

Can't say much on performances, its hard to think of a modern actor who doesn't suck at acting, so its all kinda relative. I think mr affleck did a decent job.

Better than the crappy rap that absolutely kills the mood in movies like Fast and Furious.  At least the rock worked, if dated now. (Personally, I point to Cooler's Revenge and the Broly dbz movies for how to do music in a fight scene)

I don't remember too much CGI, other than the motorcycle kick.  That's mostly just the cgi of the times though.

I remember the bar scene being awesome fighting.  But then I can't think of a superhero movie that DOES have good fight choreography.  This one, I'd at least call as "better". (ASM fighting Lizard in the school was decent as well.)

Better than the netflix costume.  The movie costume actually looked cool, at least.

Cheesy, but iconic :) That's just throwing a little comic book awesomeness in there lol

I chalked it up more to him being the son of a champion boxer, then his enhanced senses making him better at reacting to things (Note he was fighting defensively).  Although that scene with him fighting as a kid was cringe inducing yeah lol.  A backflip? what?

The coffin of water takes about 3 seconds of thought to understand. Its a sensory deprivation tank, so he can actually sleep at night.  It drowns everything out. He can't turn his enhanced hearing/smelling/etc off, remember?  That's one of the details of the movie that usually gets praise, because its a little bit of logic applied.  Think about it, without it, how the heck DOES Daredevil get any sleep?

Meh. Not the worst casting choice I've seen.  About on par with every other choice in the movie,  Not bad, but it worked.

Daredevil was one of the better superhero movies to me. It, the first Captain America movie, and...actually I'm changing my third choice to Big Hero 6, are my "top marvel hero movies". 4th would be X-men 2, if only for the Nightcrawler opening.

The netflix one is too....cheap, imo.  Too cheesy for all the wrong reasons, while the movie was cheesy for the RIGHT reasons.  Then again I rarely enjoy western dramas due to cliche hack writing and bad acting.

The problem comes from the script, the actors had nothing to work with. So it turns in wooden performances, unless you're Colin Farell. He's funny in that.

Nah they fit the setting of those movies (They also were over the party scenes and some street races, not fights). Sure the odd Limp Bizkit song in the earlier films but I liked Six Days, We Own It, Ride Out, and See You Again (Hell I liked Furious 7 more than Age of Ultron if I'm being honest)

There's quite a bit of it. The Church fight comes to mind.

The Bar fight scene was set to Nickleback nothing is good when set to Nickleback. As the only Canadian here that statement cannot be argued. It also doesn't compare to the Hallway fight from the Netflix series. That scene is a testament to excellent Choreography and cinematography.

I disagree. At least the Netflix costumes are practical. You ever try moving around in thick leather? It's not easy.

Backflip while flipping the cane.

You learn to deal with it. Same reason he doesn't have constant sensory overload. You just get used to the sound around your house.

The Spin-off says otherwise.

It's not cheap. It's presented alot more grounded and almost Grindhouse level (Hell, Fisk bashing a dudes head off with a car door is very much Grindhouse), which isn't what the movie is like, which was going "Oh Blade was popular, let's do that". The series is very different in that regard. Still cheesy sure Grindhouse film is some corny ****, but it's at least trying to be good. Not just following up on a fad.

also, holy CRAP that scene was pointless.  Obviously just there to sell the toy lol

That's the comic Hulkbuster.

Spoiler

Well the most iconic one anyway. It's also the first proper Hulkbuster figure since like 2005.

You can't sell this.

kFLVuMs.jpg

Mostly because they're sub-par McDonald's quality stuff because Hasbro likes to cut corners now.

The big one that lights up and makes sounds maybe.

But not the main figure line. Because they're a bunch of crap.

Least Marvel Legends (And Marvel Select, they've upped their game over the years) are still good.

Except water is incredibly good at carrying sound waves. If it wasn't whales, dolphins and other sea life couldn't communicate over vast distances.

The fight choreography was hardly impressive, but most movies fail to include all the subtle nuances involved with martial arts.

Colin Farrell as Bullseye was terribad. His performance was so bad... it killed my pet cat.

At the end of the day it's all based on opinion. In your opinion it was a good movie, but in my opinion it was rubbish. And I honestly wouldn't care, except that every God damn day you have multiple post b*tching about something. Whether it's the cast, story or an African American as the Human Torch it apparently doesn't end.

/end rant, I apologize for the outburst Clones.

Don't worry about it. I only liked Colin Farell because he's at least interestingly bad.

I'll say it again. Silvair starts more arguments than anyone else. So I don't blame ya. I was halfway there myself :P

Would totally buy the hell out of those two figurines.

You can Pre-Order the Hulkbuster off of Marvels website, and the Hulk has been a Disney Store Exclusive for a couple years now.
Though the two are a little out of scale. I'd recommend getting a Marvel legends Hulk. And as luck would have it, there is one that just came out in the Thanos BAF wave.

It'll be a bit more in scale.

But there are alot of good Hulk Marvel Legends out there. Pretty much every variation of the character to suit your fancy.

Water plus metal blocks sound so he can sleep at all.

Ear plugs.
Noise canceling headphones.
Both accomplish the same thing.

Sleeping in water is stupid. But I'm sure that hypothermia will really help with fighting crime. You know, if he doesn't drown first.
And don't bring in real life examples because it's even dumber if it's an actual thing.

Maybe his superhearing is so strong only a sensory deprivation tank does the trick.

They are heated but I'm not sure if people sleep in them.

Whatever, it's a stupid movie.

Why is Veronica only an Hulkbuster? If Stark is supposed to fly through narrow building, it's understandable. But if you are fighting an army of robots, just call the damn thing please.

7 Chaos Emeralds. It was only 6 in Sanic 1.
But I wouldn't expect Dorkly to know that though.
They don't actually like Video Games.
