Emily Blunt, Katee Sackhoff and Katheryn Winnick are the current favorites. I don't like any of them for the part. Hopefully Marvel picks an unknown. 2018 is still far off.

Yeah, you just pulled that out of your backside. They're taking inspiration from DKR where Batman is a criminal...
DKR doesn't work with an outcast superman without batman being the fascist stooge. Even if they try to play him up as the rebel, he's still standing in for government authority because of what he'd hold supes to account for in terms of metropolis.
It's like doing a kingdom come version with this MOS supes. It doesn't work.

Another Summer 2015 announcement.
So why is a show that had a conclusion getting a continuation, yet Spider-Man The Animated Series still hasn't gotten one?

I won't deny that. The 90s X-Men series were great.
But with all the SpiderVerse Shenanigans going round in the the Spider-Man books and show right now. WE NEED to know if Animated Series Spider-Man found MJ.
I've needed to know this for a long time.

I'd like to continue this in the DC thread. I kind of see your point. But MoS Supes wasn't really Supes. It was Clark Kent in Kryptonian battle raiment. The Batman I hope they're going with is Batman is just an 'urban myth' used to scare criminals straight in Gotham City. Bruce Wayne sees two aliens level 1/3 of a city in a one-on-one scrap he's going to use his billions of dollars worth of Wayne-Tech to investigate. He's not necessarily standing in for the government as he is for the human race. By the time BvS kicks off Clark will probably be a lot closer to Donner's version in spirit (minus the camp). I think these characters could juxtapose and play off each other well especially if Snyder looks to the DCAU for inspiration.

First cover for the upcoming Secret Wars is up...A little early for something coming out in May but whatever.
So I've had time to mull it over, and I think I get what all these teasers are all about.
Secret Wars 3 is going to cause a complete shake up the Marvel Multiverse (Since Multiveresing it up is common now. Look at SpiderVerse). My predictions are...
The Ultimate Universe is destroyed, Miles Morales and a few other characters are brought over to 616.
Old Man Logan discovers his 616 counterpart is dead, and takes his place as the headmaster of The Jean Grey School for Higher Learning.
Ultron completely annihilates the filth that is the Marvel Zombies permanently. Because Marvel Zombies is terrible, especially when they were put into A Christmas Carol for no determinable reason.
Peter Parker and Mary Janes Devil Divorce is undone.
The 90s X-Men get their own comic...because if Batman '66 can have his own comic why not the 90s X-men Cartoon?
