First off, calm down. Saying that a story line/character concept done over a dozen times in the past twenty years is stale is not "*****ing and whining."You act as though I don't want Donald Glover as Spider-Man.
I do, I brought it up several times.
I just find it pointless to ****** and whine about something that had the slimmest chance of happening.
I want Miles brought in. But without having Peter having any sort of presence in the MCU, it takes alot of the impact away of Miles' origin away. Since Peter took a bullet for Cap in the comics. So it just comes off as an affirmative action hire otherwise.
Secondly, this didn't even have to be Miles (I brought up Donald Glover because I think that would be awesome, but it was also tongue in cheek, since I know Marvel wouldn't dream of doing a non-Peter Parker Spider-Man). But that's no reason to write him as the same standard character we've been viewing. Yes, maybe they will inject some type of new slant or interest in it, but most likely it's going to be like "hey, I'm Spider-Man, everyone knows my story because it's been told the same way over and over and over again, let's fight bad guys!"
I just don't think they will introduce Hulk villains when they can't even do a Hulk stand-alone movie. I mean, has everyone forgot about Abomination? What kind of crazy sci-fi prison do they have him in where he has been quiet (and unused, despite the planet being invaded by aliens, I might add) for the last decade?General Ross is in the movie. So I see no reason why not.
Would make sense if he was the event that triggers the registration act.
I think they are bringing in Thunderbolt to be a familiar face of the militant side of the Registration Act and to be the bad guy when things to turn sour (instead of it all solely resting on Tony). But I don't think they will turn him into the Red Hulk, personally. There just isn't enough time in a two hour movie to introduce all of these concepts (look at the flak Age of Ultron is getting for its chainsaw editting).
