So Jon Bernthal has been cast as Punisher for Daredevil Season 2!

 

I was a little worried when Steven Deknight left the series but with Elektra and Punisher showing up for the next season I am hyped again.

I'd rather the role of Bullseye go to an actor who actually likes cb shows/movies. I suspect if Statham ever did get the part he'd just phone it in.

So, watching Captain America: The First Avenger.

There's this scene where Stark presents him all these advanced shields with weapons imbued in them and then Captain picks the iconic, round one which, according to Stark, was a prototype.

Ok, the moral is "Simpler is better", not issue with that. Except Stark clearly states that all the Vibranium they had, rarest metal on earth except when it's adamantium, went into making it.

Why would you use all the Vibranium you had on a prototype that Captain was never meant to use?

Adamantium was also used in making Caps shield. It's a compound that uses both metals. Probably just to see if they're compatible. But like Cap, the ability to make more of it was lost. So there's a nice duality going on there.

But, despite first appearing in an Avengers story, Adamantium is technically apart of the X-Men. So it can't be mentioned in the MCU.
