I don't even...

This movie is even more of an abomination than it sounded like on paper.

Why don't they learn and just sell everything back to Marvel?

It's not like they can make an profit from these movies anyway. Might as well give back to those who can and earn some money in the process.

I guess they think that if they just try hard enough, they'll get some of that sweet Avengers/GOG cash?

The only ones that tried and succeed were the X-man and Spider man. But even they had some serious let downs, since only now X-man is doing well and the Amazing spiderman was decent enough reboot. But I daresay they would be twice as good if they were done by Marvel rather then Sony. Fox on the other hand is hopeless and should give up.

But the two most recent X-Men movies were really, really good.

That's why I said "only now X-man is doing well".

I actually didn't like DoFP as much as most people did, but that's because I thought the future scenes were pretty pointless.

Speaking of DOFP I watched the Rouge Cut just now.

It was good. Seeing as Rouge had a prominent Role in the original trilogy it was nice to see her have one with the original casts finale.

There's also a small scene involving Totally Not-Wanda that I liked for a reason why I like The Wolverine so much.

It was there so you could see characters you grew up watching as a kid get ripped in half, shanked, and melted.

That **** struck a chord with me. Because I was like 3 or 4 when X1 came out.

And because of that. Those scenes weren't pointless. DOFP is, as I said, the grand finale of the original X-Men Cast, the last time Patrick Stewart, Sir Ian Mckellen, Halle Berry, Ellen Paige, Shawn Ashmore, and Anna Paquin will ever be in one of these movies again. So for that reason it did have a point.

It just doesn't matter to me, I guess, because all those characters were going to be erased out of existence for me. It just had no stakes, even within it's own continuity: Logan wakes up and everyone's living an awesome life in the future. X-men - the first movie - was what got me into comics, but I just never cared for the future scenes.

To each their own I suppose.

Considering Hugh Jackman teased Old Man Logan at Comic Con, I can say without a doubt in my mind the future is more f*cked than it was before anyway.

Is the Rogue Cut worth watching DoFP again if I don't care for Rogue?

Obviously the video quality is terrible, but this still looks like the most fun comic book movie in a long while. Perhaps ever. Also great that they get to do it properly, with it being very clearly R-rated.

Oh? So I take it Old Man Logan is something that is considered bad in the comics?
