You won't be getting the best out of the game.

That processor is very lacking, so don't be surprised if you can only play on Low settings.

I know but you see I bought that laptop because I wanted to play DAO and that was 4 years ago of course and I use it for many more things but I will buy another one at black friday one significantly better with a i7 precessor, You see I wanna play DAI as the last game I will play on this laptop because this series of games made me bought it this one will be its closure.

LOL sentimental much?

Do as you wish, Sir, just so long as you are aware that it's not going to run the game very well. ;)

I wouldn't hold your breath.

Minimum says quadcore. Now, i3 CPUs do come with hyperthreading for four threads at a time, but they are only physical dual cores and a hyperthreaded virtual core is only around a quarter or third of a physical core's performance. So if the min. reqs mean physical cores, then you're most likely out of look. Nevermind that a four year old laptop will likely not meet the GPU min. reqs unless it was a pretty expensive one at the time (which the CPU doesn't seem ti imply).

What exactly are the specs for your laptop? If we know more details, we could give a better approximation.

CPU i3 1.9GHZ

GPU Ati Mobility Radeon HD 545

8 gb ram

And it can play Battlefield 4 at medium who uses the same engine if that makes a difference.

What resolution? 480p?

We're talking 80 stream processors, 8 TMUs, 4 ROPs and 512-1024 GDDR3 memory @ 64-bit. Compared with the minimum requirements of the HD 4870 with 800 stream processors, 40 TMUs, 16 ROPs and 512 GDDR5 memory @ 256-bit.

Translation: nope.

1024X768 actually is the resolution so I do not know the pixels but does that matter I have no problem lowering the resolution.

Just to be sure, did you run Bf4 on that laptop yourself and got playable frames, or did you hear you could run it from someone else? Because I have a really hard time imagining that GPU could power something like Bf4 without nearly instantly crashing.

Ok I have it and will play it and I will prove it if any of you tell me how to make a picture of it without an external camera?

In the end it's largely irrelevant anyway as you said you'd be getting a new system soon anyhow that will run it. If you really want to show it works, you can try using a free capture software like MSI Afterburner to capture some gameplay with realtime fps count.

How can I show the fps count because I recorded it for now but there is no fps there.

You have to activate the on-screen display in Afterburner and set it to display the fps counter. Also check that it won't hide the OSD during recording.

I can't read the readout properly, but I think the fps count is not enabled. I'm seeing GPU, memory and CPU load, but no framerate counter. From how the video looks like, I'd also guess you're getting around 20 fps with pretty big framedrops (some of which might be due to the recording though).

The video only shows 360p resolution. Is that how you play the game, or did Youtube not process it fully yet?

Well I do not know how to put it at the actual resolution 1024X768 which is the lowest the game lets me have.

Seeing as Battlefield 4 well works with almost but not there frame rate while DAI work like since it uses the same engine?
