Has anyone else found that the Keep does import their heroes, but most of the choices are not correct? For example: I played through Origins a number of times, and romanced pretty much everyone at various points, but romanced Leliana more than once. Yet, when my "main" hero (and in fact any of them) were imported, all of them had "no romance" set.

Another example is I never sacrificed myself, and yet all heroes had the sacrificed option selected.

Story choices are not imported. You have to enter them manually.

This. The only thing the Keep imports is your name, avatar, backround, and class. You'll have to recreate your world state yourself (or keep the default choices wherever you want).

Yeah, that's the problem. There should be like a big pop up in the middle of the screen first time you log in the Keep.

^Agree...but even with that there will still be a few people who click it close without reading and post 5 seconds later the Keep "doesn't recognize my choices!"

I was with the OP though I saw the banner.  It show it loading your achievements and isn't who you romanced an achievement?  There is a difference between loading a saved game and loading achievements(in theory).  Or does BioWare mean both?  And if both why imply they are loaded.

Side Note: Love how the forum disables my browser spell check since last I was here.

Achievements were stored on the BSN, so they can import those. Story decisions were not stored in a usable format on BSN so those were not imported into the Keep.

Ok, so it was just me remembering wrong that it was an achievement when it wasn't.  Cool.  Thanks! :)

There are achievements for who you romance, but you can earn multiple of them in a single playthrough or accross multiple playthroughs making them not useful for extracting plot details for the Keep.

Yeah, I just found where they list all achievements and Leliana's is there.

I'm having problems with the Keep :(

When I want to sync my data it starts doing it - all of my accomplishments and stuff goes through - but my hero doesn't, it says I have to choose a new one.

Why is that?

Thanks guys :D

What do you mean with you have to choose a new one? Do you mean the decisions of the past games or just the portraits and names that don't appear?

My decisions and everything else mostly appears (some of them are wrong, but okay), but my Warden character doesn't go through - it says I have to ''Choose a Hero''.

That's the portraits and names I guess.

The decisions for your world state always have to be manually entered. They're not "wrong" because nothing about your game was imported. You have to change them.

When you go through syncing, it asks you what hero to choose for that world state you're making. You can change it later.

Now, if you mean your custom Wardens aren't showing up in the list, open up your game, equip something and save your game. Wait a few hours (maybe longer) and it should show up in the keep. If not, check out the numerous help threads already going on in this forum for tips.

You have to understand: Dragon Age Keep is not a save game importer, so everyone have to rebuild their own saves again with the keep. Everything that syncing imports is your character portraits, names, gender, class and orgins of the warden. Everything else is a default world state and you have to rebuild your own manually.

The "choose are hero" menu always appears and after you click it, you should see a list of portraits from the characters that have been uploaded to the bsn/keep.

And I understand that. My beef with the system is (or was) that it said my ''Hero was unavailable''. I read somewhere that it could take a whole day for your Warden (and your Warden only) to get into the system - my Warden, which means his likeness (which I'm guessing is his portrait), his gender (male), class (warrior) and name (Michael). Doesn't that import as well? I don't want Default Heroes - even if I untick the Default Heroes tab it says that my hero is unavailable.

I know you have to rebuild your own world state, it's just my character's info that I'm worried about.

On which system did you played that particular character? Maybe you don't have the psn or xbox live account connected with origin.

You also should try that tip from crowskins post:

Fair enough. But lots of other people are in the same position. The important thing to remember is that - if your characters do not sync - it will not affect your DA:I experience in any significant way.

Here's what it means:

Syncing characters from DA:O - this may affect DA:I in some way but, from what we've been told so far, not in any major way. The Warden from DA:O does not appear in DA:I although he/she will be mentioned. We believe you may therefore see his/her name in a Codex or something, but syncing probably won't do anything more than that.

Syncing characters from DA2 - we believe the Champion from DA2 will appear in DA:I. BW have said, however, that if he/she does appear, we will be given something like a Character Creator tool so that we can make them look like our own hero. Again, therefore, syncing will have no real effect on DA:I.

PC. I already connected my game with my online profile. I haven't registered my DA2 saves, I was just trying out the Keep.

I'm aware of that, I just like there to be some continuity as that is pretty much something I poured a lot of my game time in :D

I'll wait 24 hours and try again. Maybe I'll see my dude on there :D

Hawk will definetly appear in DAI, that can be seen in the hero of thedas trailer where the default female hawk appears and in some other trailer male default hawk appears multiple times.

Yes, I've seen the trailers, and I'm sure you're probably right. The only official statement from BW, however, has been a comment (from Laidlaw, I believe) that said "IF" he/she appears.

I'm therefore being careful to use his words rather than relying on our interpretation of what's in the trailer!

So that is the official confirmation.^^
