In the section if Morrigan had a baby you have the option of her having had a human baby... Presumably this is if you had sex with Morrigan but DIDN'T go through with the dark ritual.

However for some reason it doesn't give you the option to of had a baby with Morrigan if you have romanced Leliana... however in the game you could have sex with both and break up with Morrigan... in which case I am fairly sure the game still records her as pregnant.

Am I wrong about that?

Maybe she uses magical birth control, that Wyne talks about else where in the story, when you break up with her, so she never actually had the baby.

Net result just having sex with her isn't enough.

Morrigan's baby is not the Inquisitor!

Sorry force of habit. You could submit a request under beta feedback for the devs to alter the Keep for account for this situation.

Yeah, the game I found out she could have a normal baby was the game I dumped her for Zevran (sorry Morrigan, didn't realize I was being a deadbeat dad when I did that), it's a bit odd that isn't an option, especially when you can pick to be Alistairs queen or mistress but still have Zevran as your lover.

Or maybe it's just a little glitch they'll fix.

On the plus/interesting side. At least this now establishes that Morrigan doesn't engage in the ritual without your consent. I had just presumed the baby she was carrying was for the ritual given her motives, regardless of when you had sex.

No to my knowledge. I was under the impression you actually had to complete the romance arc with Morrigan. I also started a romance first with Morrigan, but then switched to Leliana and subsequently parted ways with Morrigan. I still performed the Dark Ritual though, but I'm fairly certain there would not have been a child had the ritual not been performed.

Human baby also had a golden glowy feel-good aura, and the OGB didn't.

uh oh.

You only have to sleep with her once. I made the human baby by accident. Dumped her for Zev. Wished there was an option in witch hunt where I could just ask her for the baby to be handed over (or reach some sort of custody agreement)

You're not wrong that the game allowed you to do it. But the Keep is not inclusive of that kind of Warden, as that's making things far more complicated than they feel like accommodating. And I can't blame them.

You could in fact romance Morrigan Leliana and Zeveran in one play through and not have to break up with any but it can be a little tricky that said that does cause problems for the end game dialog boxes you get and the save when it carried over to DA2 was messed up if i remember rightly.

Origins post landsmeet was a minefield of misfiring plot flags, dialogue snafus and out and out bugs.

Since Keep is intended to rectify these bugs and what not before entering Inquisition to play, I'm going to assume   "Morrigan, if romanced and no DR performed, still ends up having the Warden's child--albeit a 'normal' one" was the proper outcome on the situation.  It would make no sense for her to keep the warden's child if he had not been the man she loved, as a child would make her very vulnerable to her enemies.

I totally agree. In my opinion, it would be "normal" for her to give a normal baby to someone she trusts if she can if it is a normal baby. An old god baby is another matter and the looking glass of witch's hunt may be the solution to stay in a protected area.

Wait what? How can you have sex with Morrigan and have her have a baby that is just a human baby? Suppose you did decide to go through with the ritual, then it wouldn't work because Morrigan would already have a fetus inside of her and no unfertilized egg.

The only way the whole ritual makes sense is if Morrigan isn't yet pregnant, and that means the only option can be either Morrigan had a dragon soul baby or no baby at all.

Was one of my first feedbacks when those choices got put in, know they probbly will still add and a change a few things before DA:I goes fully live.

Also a sub forum that you can use for these type of posts, that will make it easier for the team to see them.

I agree with you but she still has a normal human baby if you sleep with her but don't do the ritual.

Good point... maybe it is magic ritual sperm that impacts on the initial conception. Or maybe Morrigan casts a spell removing the first pregnancy.

It's probably more like how Duncan will be at the right place to pick up only the warden you picked. If you choose not to do the ritual then morrigan was already pregnant from the previous times you've slept together. If you choose to do it she wasn't.

If you broke up with her, she became bitter and drank her moon tea. Confirmed.

Except she has a conversation with you about her need to conceive. Surely if her master plan all along was to have you impregnate her with OGB, then falling pregnant by accident along the way... and hence preventing the ritual from being a possibility, is a really stupid decision.

It had to be a recent pregnancy. Like really recent. Otherwise the child wouldn't be tainted anymore.
