Try to look on what's missing as "it's unimportant to Inquisition". In the overall scheme of things, if we never go to Denerim, who cares who is Bann there? Or the fate of one maleficar (who in many playthroughs will be dead/Tranquilled).
I'm unsure what (if anything) among the dozens of choices you are inputting has an impact. Since I believe some of the game takes place near Redcliffe, choices like "Did I abandon the town to the Undead" or "Did i sacrifice Isolde to save Connor" will have some impact.
Maybe you will encounter Bella at the Grey Warden's Rest there. Or meet Teagan and learn about his wife Kaitlyn *ugh* or meet Bevin with his grampa's sword out discovering adventures.
Or maybe you won't. But I wouldn't worry overmuch about it if it's not there, obviously it's not important to the story Bioware is telling this time.
