The boon my elf Warden requested from the ruler of Ferelden... land for the Dalish I believe.

Lots of stuff from Awakening was missing, as was a lot of stuff from DA:O and DA2. Probably because it won't matter in Inquisition.

 

However there were a lot of very minor things that did make it into the Keep which really should be of no importance in Inquisition.

For all we know that deserter could have become the leader of a mass pacifist movement in Ferelden.

 

I'm pretty sure he gets killed at some point during the Prologue.

Indeed, like a threesome with Isabela and Leliana, which was recognized in DA2, but not in the keep haha

 

More importantly, I think brother genetivi and whether or not deciding to tell the world about the the sacred ashes is a huge choice and at least bigger than some minor ones. Even if not for Inquistion, I think it is a big thing.

Yeah for every minor detail (ex. Feed Ostagar Prisoner) they included there were a few larger ones missing. Things like Jowan and the Boon as people have pointed out earlier, or Ser Cauthrien's Fate or the entire Alienage Questline. But overall I'm pretty impressed they did a very thourough job.

I am slowly going through the keep... it is pretty comprehensive although one thing that I notice is missing from their is the fate of Jowan. Also there doesn't seem to be anything from the origins or your last dialogue choices with the monarch and everyone else in terms of the future... i.e. do I or my cousin become the first arl of the Alienage.

Anyone else notice anything large that seems absent?

Jowan was the first thing I noticed too. As a mage player, the fact that he couldn't survive the game because of a glitch was very disappointing and this is what made me look forward to the keep the most.
But having had some time with it I think the lack of Awakening choices is what's really disappointing, I know we did more than 4 things in the expansion pack.

The first thing I noticed was no mention of the alienage quest and then ser cauthrian, rival/friend with companions and so on. I'd forgotten about Jowan even though mage is my favourite play through it's origin story and Jowan in particular are not.

Honestly I think there too many DA2 choices impacting DAI

I'm kind off bumped as well. Though look at it this way, anything that wasn't in Keep will not have anything to do with Inquisition. There won't be any references or anything like that so you have nothing to fear. The Keep can be updated with more stuff so perhaps it leaves room for any DLC so if you want to see something, request it. It could show up.

I'm surprised there was no choice to say whether Sigrun and Velanna are alive. Or the outcomes of their personal quest - if it matters whether Oghren and Felsi got together, presumably theirs would matter too?

The life of a warden is tough at it's easiest.  Remember this is 10 years after the Warden's story. Anything could have happened.  Oghren himself had a child prior to becoming a warden.  Perhaps we encounter Felsi, and her boy.  The Spoiled Princess Inn where she worked isn't far from Redcliffe, where some of the adventure takes place.  I can see why Oghren (and not the others) got mentioned.

Wouldn't this be very important to Inquisition as they are both in the game?

That would be important for Alistair yes. And maybe to an extent for Leliana but more so Alistair because that decided whether he was a good king or a great king. Leliana already looks hardened from what we have seen, possibly due to everything that has happened since DA:O.

We've discussed the hardening Alistair tile and while they added Goldana the consensus seems to be that 10 years is going to harden anyone

it's unlikely that the monarch choices will carry over, as they are big sweeping changes (i.e no circle of magi, free dalish state)

I can live with that since I hardened both.

 

I guess it is realistic that both woumld have hardened anyway over the years.

That's true, I'd forgotten that we encountered Felsi there the first time. Especially since that's probably why various Redcliffe characters are mentioned too, since we'll revisit it.

My main kerfuffle is we can't say we defeated the dragon. We can say it about da2s dragon but not origins?

#1 it happens anyway with the warden whether or not you did it anyway (like legacy)
