I just tried out the keep, it had my characters but no way to see what their save states were.  I did notice that the top of the keep said basically that it did NOT import the actual save states and that I would need to go into the keep and set certain states.  Is this the case?  If so okay, but seemed odd that it did seem to import the character.

I take it that DLCs such as Leliana's Song and Golems of Amgarrak are not important?  I could not find a place to put options in there.

Also, there were states that happened at the end of Origins that do not have save states; Ie dalish get lands, cousin becomes the arl of the Alienage, looser circle rules, etc.    Some of those were quite world shaking in a way.  An elf being an Arl?  An alienage having actual rights?  Dalish being granted land?  Those seem rather large.  I noticed that even in the comics it alluded to the Ferelden Circle being more lax than others.  Just seemed odd that they do not get mention since they seem so at odds with the rest of the world.

Yes, the button saying that the saves are not imported inside the Keep is actually correct -_-

It imports your character, but not his decisions. You'll have to recreate those.

Leliana's song obviously is not important because it goes through events that already happened and you do not affect. The Golems dlc always has the same outcome.

You can suggest what you feel should be there with the beta feedback button!

Yeah, Leliana's Song is just back story, and the only choice you'd be able to make for GoA would be "Killed the Harvester" or "Didn't play the DLC; Harvester ate some more dwarves."

I don't think it's really matter if you kill the Harvester or have played the DLC. In the end a horde of Harvester got out anyway, but I think what's important is that you obtain a Golem's research or not.

True. It probably wouldn't matter in a world state where the Anvil was destroyed, since the Runic Golem gets crushed at the end of the DLC and no one's making any more golems anyway, but in a world where the Anvil was preserved, those notes could theoretically be used to create more healing, lightning-shooting war machines.

Well, if you didn't do the DLC, the horde of Harvesters can't get out, because you didn't fix the fade-shifting issue going on in that Thaig...

This is mainly speculation, but to answer your questions about the Dalish and city elves: by importing your elven character, it's already noted that the ending to DAO involved the Dalish getting land and such. It's part of your character origin, so perhaps it's something that goes without saying.

That's the conclusion I've come up with, at least.

Unless BioWare retcon it.

Bioware confirmed even if you didn't play the DLC they still happened in DAI's world

I know, and the events in DLC happen either way, since the Golems of Amgarrak doesn't have any real decisions we wouldn't see the option for that DLC in the Keep unless BioWare wants to add if the player has obtained every Golem research or not.

Even if they do add it, its to late for it to affect DAI

Probably, but assuming we'll get a chance to involved with the Anvil of the Void in the future (in case you didn't destroy it), or the Dwarves will attempt to re-create another anvil to forge a Golem again.

Even so any choices they add to the Keep now won't affect DAI since the game is pretty much finished and releasing in 2 weeks, only the choices that were there originally will effect your game.

I know, and I already know that BioWare mentioned it somewhere that not every decisions available in the Keep will affect DAI, but my point is it could affect the future DA games.
