Hey everyone. Sorry if these is posted on the wrong board, I haven't used the bioware forums before.

Anyway, I'm in my first playthrough of DA2 (PS3) in the beginning-ish of Act III. I've done all of the "On the Loose" quest (dealt with the three mages) but once I show up to the gallows to meet with Meredith, everything is blocked off and there are no objective markers. Also, when I go back to my writing desk the initial letter from her has disappeared. The quest still shows up in my journal and on the city map, however.

I'm assuming this is a bug. Has anybody encountered this same issue and know how to solve it? Since it's a main quest, I kinda need it to finish the game which I would like to do...

You can't get into her office? Do one or two other quests and go back after that and try again.

If that doesn't fix it I think you'll just have to bite the bullet and load an earlier save.
