I remeembered reading this guy's idea on how when you get more war assets, more people and species join the normandy. An example would be having some geth and/or quarians working in Engineering when the conflict is over, or even an elcor tactician helping Garrus with his calibrations after you save Dekunna.

So if the above was to happen, what kind of conversations would they have? I'm talking about something similiar to the ones in the citadel like the human teenager or the nervous boyfriend.

Heres one I brewed up...
If you cured the genopage and the Salarian councilor was saved, a pack of STG salarians can be found in the command centre and armoury. Some example conversations may occur...

Salarian Infiltrator: Heard Commander Shepard specializes in infiltration like mine. I apreciate her interest, but I feel her weapons lack the technology.
Salarian Engineer: How so? Their weapons are both state-of-the-art and of efficent models.
Salarian Infiltrator: They are, but compare theirs to our weapons. I saw Shepard has some scorpion pistols already in stock, but boy he never seen one of these before...*holds out an unknown gun*
Salarian Engineer: The Piercer? Aagh, of course! Just one of the finest!
*Commander Shepard talks to salarians*
Shephard: 'Scuse me. I overheard your conversation and would like to requisition some of those weapons you got there?
Salarian Infiltrator: Hm? Oh, sure, sure! I'll just ring the authorities to hand you over some models, yes.

Salarian Diplomat: *on the phone* Hey brother! Yes I have already arrived and settled in the Normandy, a beautiful warship. I heard a high-ranking STG scientest once worked here. Of course it's the best! Thanix cannons, multi-core shieldings, inpenetrable armour, everything it has! Oh.....right, they don't have an airlock, what's a warship without an airlock.....

A Turian male recruited after Priority: Tuchanka takes up station in the war room. Before the completion of Priority: Rannoch, he can be found sparring with a human crewman in the hangar, growing increasingly angry as they talk, complaining about having to bail the Quarians out of the war they started while his homeworld burns - the human he spars with argues that his anger is more about what his family is going through than anything about the present situation. Shepard can take either side. After the Quarians are recruited, this same Turian and a Quarian woman also stationed to the War Room are coordinating ship movements, relocating refugees and factory workers on Palaven - his family included. Afterwards, they are seen sitting in the mess hall, the turian telling her that they're safe, for the moment, and thanking her for helping him. Later they're seen in the mess hall again, with the woman showing him a holo of her daughter in the bubble. It's the first time this Turian has seen what Quarians actually look like - driving home that, yeah, there's actually a person under those suits. As they talk, it dawns on her that now that they have the homeworld back again, the population restrictions will go away, and her daughter might actually get to experience life with siblings. If the Quarians were never recruited, on the other hand, the Turian's family isn't saved, and he can be found in the lounge commiserating over their deaths with a human member of the crew.

A few other gems: Geth going through the security scanner over and over, Spinal Tap style; James Vega spotting for a Batarian lifting weights in the hangar if their assistance was gained, perhaps even a group of Krogan headbutting down there as they're shipped from one world to the next at some point.

I would have like to have every crew mate alive and on the Normandy all at the same time. Imagine the priceless conversations...

(Scott Shepard - Soldier - Arms Master / Master Weaponsmith - Senior Requisitions Officer).

If it's liked enought, I may write more :P

James: Man, the Commander is a serious fancy-pants! You see how many Mark X Tier weapons he's ordering EDI to duplicate?

Cortez: Having in mind what we're dealing with every mission, I think they're more than justified, Mr. Vega.

James: You mean what we're dealing with, you barely use the weapons of your own shuttle, Esteban.

Cortez: That doesn't mean I can't admire some of the weapons here. Even choose some of them so I can upgrade my own arms locker.

Cortez: Did you saw that refitted Lancer Tier X? Where did the Commander found one as tweaked out as that one?

James: Baaah, that gun couldn't pierce thought a wall of warm butter. That Typhoon Mark X over there is what you need if you want to survive when dropped into any hot zone.

Cortez: But that gun has no maneuverability whatsoever! It's way too heavy, and you can barely see thought your flanks with those wings it has!

Cortez: These Lancer are as light as a feather, they doesn't require thermal clips, and packs enough punch to give anyone a run for their money. What else do you want?

James: You can stick to small guns, Esteban. I go for the professional choices.

Cortez: I guess everyone chooses their right size in accordance for what they lack, Mr. Vega :D

OK, it won't be much... but here I go:

After helping the Batarians, there is one on your Ship.

Batarian: Human

Shepard: Name's Shepard.

Batarian: I didn't ask you for it.

Shepard: What exactly is the problem here?

Batarian: The Problem? Well, let me guess... You Humans destroyed the Alpha Relay! Killed my Family! My Poor Child was expecting me home.

(EARTHBORN SHEPARD)Shepard: I'm sorry. But it was either that or let the Reapers Invade. You wouldn't want that, would you?

Batarian: But...

Shepard: But nothing! Earth is burning! Kar'Shan is burning! Do you want to defeat the Reapers or let them have your People? Huh? I know how hard it is to lose a home! I SAW IT! I was there when Earth was invaded...

Batarian: Thousands dead...

Shepard: Yeah...

Batarian: Sorry... Shepard. We fight for a common goal. You can count on me and the Batarian Fleet to kick some Reaper ass.

Shepard: Appreciate it.

(An extract of a conversation between Commander Scott Shepard and Lieutenant James Vega, timestamped hours after the Normandy crew helped to destroy a Geth dreadnought in the Battle of Rannoch):

Vega: Commander, did you wanted to see me?

Shepard: Yes. I've got some orders for you, lieutenant. I am going to the Terminus systems, in order to retake Omega from Cerberus forces.

Vega: Omega, huh? Didn't expect to return there so soon. I was there for a little bit before being assigned to guard your brig.

Shepard: I know, I read the report, but that's not the reason I called you up. Aria T'Loak, the leader of the Omega resistance, wants me to go alone. She says she doesn't trust my crew for that particular operation.

Vega: What does that mean?

Shepard: It means that the Normandy will have to operate without his captain for a while. And that you, being the next in rank on the ship, will have to step up.

Vega: Wait, I....

Shepard: Therefore, I'm naming you XO of the Normandy and acting Commander while I'm gone. Admiral Hackett has already gave his approval.

Shepard: And I don't want to hear a word about insecurities or about what happened on Fehl Prime. You're a good soldier, Vega, and it's about time you remember that you can rise up to be a good leader, too.

Vega: (A few seconds of silence)..I...I just....this is a bit unexpected, Commander. I mean, me? Commanding the Normandy? It's just...it feels like if it's a bigger thing that I can swallow, you know?

Shepard: It may seem that way, but you already know the crew and the specialists we have at our disposal. And even in the little time you've been here, they've also grown to know and respect you. You'll do fine, James. Just have a little faith in yourself.

Vega: Yes...yes, Commander, I'll do.

Shepard: I'll part in three days. We'll do a couple of missions on Rannoch together and I'll leave the rest of the scenario to you while I'm not here. Now, grab your gear.

(Note: I know Kaidan would make more sense as Normandy's XO, but in my playthought Kaidan is dead, and (in my book) Ashley belongs to a higher rank but lower officer class (or rank class or whatever it's called) than Vega, so althought Ash is Lieutenant-Commander and Vega is Lieutenant, it'd be more like comparing a Sergeant Major with a First Lieutenant, so Vega actually outranks her. Plus, I hate Ashley and I don't really see her commanding anything :D).

(Note 2: This text is under the context where Shepard and James already had the N7 conversation).

(Note 3: It's not that disingenuous to think that Shepard would actually 'realistically' give his command to James. Similar cases have happened both in history and in modern times. True, they probably weren't a ship with the best hope for Geth-Quarian peace aboard, not to talk about the Shadow Broker, the only living Prothean in the universe and on top of that it being the most advanced ship in the Alliance Navy, but oh well, that's sci-fi for you :D ).
