I finally got time to make it yesterday.

i'll be sure to broadcast live sometime. right now I need some tips about running Twitch. could ya help?

Not personally a big fan of watching others play but I wish you look with that! I might check it out if I see you're playing anything I'm particularly interested in.

Advice? Don't be afraid to be silly and have fun .

you'll need broadcasting software, https://obsproject.com/ is one such thing, some games you have the ability to broadcast without, like path of exile, but most you need the software itself

nice. have you tried out Twitch's steaming apps they got? I saw those as well.

I use Nvidia's ShadowPlay. It's very good.

My general tips. (Since i tried do this as well but i give up, i do not like it. )

 

1: Let you choose what you will stream, or if you want know someone opinion, ask in polls etc.

 

2: Throw away trolls, since in twitch is many of them. (Mostly i encountered them on people streams who play LoL)

 

3: Have fun! (Most main tip)

Well, ask any people you know (here or elsewhere) whether they have Twitch accounts and if they would want to be mods in your chat' cause you'll need those to get rid of any eventual spambots and trolls. If no one agrees, then nightbot will have to suffice.

 

Set up rules. The usual "no backseating", "no spoilers", "no offensive stuff" etc. People are very fond of breaking the first one.

 

Also, interact with the chat as much as you can so they get the feel that you care about their opinions.

NVidia Shadowplay has built-in Twitch streaming software, if your GPU has Shadowplay.

just an update. I'm gonna put PS3 Eye next to the SDTV live on Twitch I should be able to test it out today for live test run. it will record Modern Warfare 3 gameplay. hopefully it runs fine. it hasn't been used in long, long time.
