Who else would like to know what the effects are and how they differ?
Do you think DAI will inform us of how they differ?
examples, Shocked vs Paralyzed how do they differ?
Static Charge has Paralyzed in the description, yet has Shocked in the effects.

Chain Lightning shocks and the Bolt paralyzes.
What, do you think shocked goes away after a first hit, and paralyzed is released on duration?
I hope there will be information on DAI status effects, because years later, there is still uncertainty over some Elemental Forces in DA2.
Thoughts?

Status effects would be relevant to cross-skill and cross-class combos.
Much like any fire spell would set alight oil spells in DAO, and warriors could shatter enemies frozen by mages in DAII.
With your examples, Paralysed may be responsible for significantly lowering defence or attack, and may augment a spell such as Crushing Prison (if the target cannot fight against it).
Shock is a basic element, so Shocked may just be its equivalent of Frozen. However if it is meant in the figurative sense (like a surprised attack from a rogue) could also synergise with warrior abilities who take advantage of surprise. Shocked in the literal sense may leave magical vestiges that can be triggered for detonation, much like Biotic Explosions in Mass Effect 3.

I wonder how the detonators work. Chilled Frozen, Shocked Paralyzed, Burning Fear, Sleep, and several others that I cannot remember...
