Hey all!

 

I'm running nwn1 on win8 with no UAC but still screenshots are coming up black. So I looked for a screenshots folder in my root nwn folder and there isn't one. Is this not one of the folders nwn automatically installs with the base installation? I'm using nwn platinum up to date. Is there any issue with me adding a screenshots folder like I did for hak and erf?

Not sure, but have you updated the game with the critical rebuild patch v1.69 after you installed? There is indeed suppose to be a "screenshots" folder under your "NWN" root folder. You should be getting sreenshots in the TGA format.

Yes it's up to date. I added the folder and was able to take screenshots. I have no idea why it wasn't there to begin with, but adding the folder seemed to fix it.

Not sure if this is related - but in recent OS's / versions of windows - I have observed GOG versions of the game sometimes making the screenshot directory under the logged in users profile.
Eg: My Games\NWN\Screenshots

I only know of it because I have a Downloader application that some of my players use, and one such player had their screenshot folder in that location, while my Downloader application tries to sync with the Screenshots directory in the NWN install directory.
