Hey,

 

So I just did the Dragonage Keep (think it's a great idea, well done!) but I noticed I couldn't replicate my complete story I did in Origins.

 

I had a female human noble origin, made Loghain a Grey Warden, refused Morrigan's offer, had Loghain kill the Archdemon and in the end I wed Allister.

 

However, in the Keep, this doesn't seem to work. The only way to become queen, is to let the Dark Ritual occur. I -did not- sign up for possibly ruining the world with an old god baby on the loose, I did however sign up to be an immaculate queen.

 

This has to be a bug, right? In that case, I just wish to call your attention to it.

How did you become queen if you spared Loghain??

No that's not a bug.

If you recruit Loghain, Alistair is supposed to leave you and break up with you, making it impossible to be queen. 

To be queen, Alistair has to stay with you, and to make Alistair stay with you after killing the Archdemon, you'll have to do the Dark ritual or one of you dies. 

 

You can do it your way with a male noble and marrying Anora. Not as a female noble marrying Alistair.

If you spare Loghain the only way for Alistair to not leave you is if you hardened him and had him stay with Anora. You can't marry him and he leaves the party as well. You either remember it wrong or your game was bugged.

Oh, alright, probably remembered it wrong then! Was so sure that I didn't agree to the evil-baby-conspiracy. Anyhow, thanks for setting it straight. Have to decide whether I want to be queen or have the baby on the loose.

 

Who am I kidding? Of course, I'll go for power and glory.
