Now I wonder, why you nerd to spend power in the Templars quest, but not in the mage one? Why the Templar quest is more difficult to complete than the mage one?
What do you guys think?

I don't exactly recall the stream but was the Inqusitor a mage? It would make sense for a mage to have a harder time recruiting the templars maybe.

I did not see the text OP is referencing but I am pretty shure the Inquisitor in that stream was a male Dwarf.

Could you post the video for me? I believe I may have either missed this completely or just missed the text.
The video, is this one https://www.youtube....h?v=PQfKw2JYqCo, its start around 20:50.

Cus it is trade mages are walking bombs so it will cost you later when they will start blow up your things and turn into abomnations (like in redcliff) so they cost nothing when templars are safe and useful against demons so they cost 15 power.

This is just a tiny scrap of information. It's perfectly possible that upon contacting the mages they ask you to do something that requires 15 power as well. I wouldn't get worked up over it, we don't know enough yet.

An additional scrap of information is available in the formating of the quests. It looks like Champions of the Just has advanced to the second step. In Hushed Wihispers is still on the first step, contact the mages. When that one advances I bet there will be a cost.

When I was watching the twitch gameplay ( the one in Storm Coast), I notted two quest, In Hushed Whispers ( mages recruitment in redcliff) and Champions Of The Just (Templar recruitment, and it needed 15 power to be completed).
Now I wonder, why you nerd to spend power in the Templars quest, but not in the mage one? Why the Templar quest is more difficult to complete than the mage one?

well the chantry has denounced us so we wouldn't exactly be popular with them, they may have broke from the chantry but it's a political view not a dogmatic one that saw them leave. they have been on the war path for 2 years hunting down mages.
the mages on the other hand? they are just trying to survive. allying with the Inquisition not only nets them a powerful ally but one people respect. and now means the templars must fight an organised full scale army.

Does that mean we can recruit both, I wonder...

I hate it when two parallell questlines are structured very similarly. It takes away some of the fun of replaying.

Maybe in some other recruit jobs mages take more power than templars or maybe Cameron's dwarf Inquisitor has been making choices that mages like and they are more willing to join up than templars.

It could be that one of them is a sidequest and the other isn't.

Or it could be that once you finished one of them the other is considered failed.
