Maybe I have to replay the game, but I thought that was the only choice related to Keran.

After you rescue him from Tahrone in Act 1, you get to choose if he is allowed to rejoin the templars or not. In Act 3 he was part of the conspiracy that kidnaps one of your party. After you confront him about it, you have the option to let him go or kill him. The keep also says there is an option where he rejoins the templars, but in replaying the game there does not appear to be such a choice.

The Keep's options for Keran in Act 3 are not act three choices. They are act 1 choices.

If you look at the question mark above these Act 3 choices, it talks about Keran being kidnapped by mages, which is the plot for Enemies Among Us, which is the Act 1 quest.

Spoiler

The Keep's Act 1 options for Keran are a direct result of these. It's in the wrong place and I've already sent in a bug request to get it fixed.

What's especially confusing is that two of the options for that quest are correct. You can't kill Kerran in Act 1 can you? And he does leave the templars if you let him go in Act 3. It's like they made two correct choices and then added a third choice from the wrong quest. And they already have an appropriate options for "Enemies Among Us" in the Act 1 section.

I'm even more confused now. I hope they fix this discrepancy.

This is one of the few plots that legitimately stumped me. I know I got Cullen to readmit him after the first act, but I have no idea if I let him go or returned him to the templars in Act 3.

I read the wiki, and I still can't say for sure what decision I would have made (it's not even clear what leads to the decisions or their results, for the description).

Hopefully it is a bug, because I couldn't figure it out.

And as I've been saying, I'm pretty sure there is no "return him to the templars" option in Act 3. He is always let go.

Sorry for digging up an old thread, but I'm finishing up a DA2 playthrough right now and inputting my choices into the Keep as I go along. Just finished everything pre-final Chantry event, and this Keran issue definitely looks like a bug to me. Basically, the "What did Hawk do with Keran?" choice in the Act III part of the Taperstry appears to be redundant - in its description (and offered choices) it refers to the events from Act I, and its choice options are already covered in "What happened to Keran?" choice from that Act.

- These two choices have 100% identical description:

Spoiler

- The game offered no choices to make involving Keran in Act III

Good catch. Did you use the selective feedback button to tell them about it?

Yeah, just did.

One more thing, I'm not sure about another choice from Act III section, the "Who did Hawke hand the conspirators to?" one. I did the quest, and basically I ended up having to kill most conspirators, who always attacked me on sight. Then, after finishing off Grace in the end, Cullen showed up, and the only choice I was given was whether to ask him to go easy on the Alain mage fellow, who refused to follow Grace's orders to kill the hostage. After that, I just reported the results to Orsino who initially gave me the quest... At no point did I get an opportunity to choose between handing anyone to Orsino or Meredith. ^_^

Don't know if this is worth reporting, or I just missed something?
