Better synergy indication between plot points?

Example.  My Warden was alive(so changed that) and I was pretty sure Alistair was as well.  When I go to change the fact that Alistair was alive it warns me it will set Warden as dead.  What I was missing, that the Keep wouldn't tell me, was the fact that I could change the option for Loghain to die kill the Archdemon.

 

This could have quickly become hair pulling and inventive name calling wondering why the choices were locked.  I'm not sure if this was a linking oversite or the fact that the Keep will only show one link.  Either way something needs to happen with situations like this.

The autosolver seems to pick the first choice in line that would solve the conflict. Would be nice if gave a list of choices to change to.

When you go through every choice the keep has to offer, everything will explains itself. Because when you change that loghain killed the archdemon, it will automatically change your hero to life on.

Not totally and maybe not in the future.  I did remember that it was Loghain, but if I didn't or there was another choice(it was only those 3 people right?) then I might still not know how to unlock the right answer.  As well a choice in another game could become more complicated in the future so having a plan of action now can be important.  You can't completely future proof it, but now would be the time for such a decision.

You can always look on the da wiki to remember the right choice that matches with the other. that is what I do at least.

There is another place to chance it that makes it worse because it isn't showing hich choice is making the one I want to choose invalid.  I decided I wanted to see what would have if I selected the Warden killed the Archdemon.  The problem is that it tell me 10 things will be changed and what my choice was, but not how or why the choice will be changed.

 

1) Did the Warden recruit Zevran?

2) Did the Warden poison the Urn of Sacred Ashes?

3) What happened to Loghain?

4) What happened to Leliana?

5) Did the Warden recruit Wynne?

6) Whom did the Warden romance?

7) Did the Warden recruit Dog?

8) What happened to Alistair?

9) Who now rule Ferelden?

10) Did the Warden remain as King Alistir's mistress?

 

I'm not sure if all of these were listed because I locked them or because they were the most recent.  3, 8, and 9 are the only ones affected because 10 I locked as "were not lovers" and the rest having no bearing whether the Warden is alive or dead.

It depends on what you have locked and unlocked

 

Plus the more choices it had to change the longer it would take. Talk to Messer Justin about it
