yup, still despise Cass, Viv, and Lel and don't forget Cullen, who should have his limbs cut off and be boiled alive.

He was a toxic little...thing that would be filtered in DA:O and only got more toxic since. The others? Have seen nothing about them I like or empathise with,

I'm generally in favour of having The options on sending companions away or even Kill them, but you always to make me happy that some of them won't, and that you'll be forced to work with them for all The game

This one was just combat and marketing speak. Went in looking for new stuff, didn't see anything really.

I'd like to know though how Many would people react after suffering What Cullen suffered in DAO. I'm pretty sure a good aumont of those who loathe Cullen would become like him.
And for clarifying, I don't agree with his views in both DAO and DA2.

Nope, I just wont do war table missions to avoid having to deal with them. If that ends the game...well I see little in Thedas with the maker cult in it worth saving anyway, if a purge of that cult was begun I may close the rifts...but if you cling to that faith be dragged screaming to hell, I hope your suffering is endless, Shem deserve no less.

You need to use the war table to go anywhere in the world. Sounds like you won't be playing the game at all then.

One gameplay video (exploration, combat on early lvl) and one Q&A panel with devs.
But I'm not 100% sure...

Yep, that's all that was posted.
There's a DAI livestream from Cologne on Bioware's Twitch coming up in exactly two hours.

You might be torcer in using Leliana and Cullen in certain plot quests. You can't open The hinterlands without her, for example.Nope, I just wont do war table missions to avoid having to deal with them. I don't get The Last part of The Faith and shems, to be honest.

So Vilegrim isn't just a clever username, I see.
Anyway, is the second Q & A worth suffering through twitch to watch? I started it, but things kinda crapped out with the stream and I bailed.

look at how you meet cullen, dude was ready to kill you straight off the bat, plus he was woefully incompetent at his job a baffling fool and paranoid.
then of course how he act's and how he wants to kill everyone once the circle goes to hell. (who when your that character these are people you grew up with lived with everyday) and then in the post game slides he goes nuts and kills people.
it would be 4 years of knowing cullen was a psycho before the retcon and even with the retcon he's still not a good bloke his paranoia became worse and he became more intolerant the our first encounter.
i all depends on what your first playthrough was like. if you were a mage first up or your canon was a magae (particularly if you were male so didn't have cullen crush redeeming him somewhat) there was simply nothing redeeming about cullen.
First impressions last as they say and with 4 years of no redeeming factor, peoples opinions of cullen are coloured by it.
particularly when they weren't comparing Cullen to meredith, they were comparing him to Greagoir, who was what a knight commander should be.

Even if you're pro-mage in both games, he's still less extreme in DA2 then after The Broken circle in DAO. I'm Not arguing if he was good or bad, but that DA2 Cullen is less extreme then DAO Cullen, in response of Vilegrim saying he was even more toxic in DA2.look at how you meet cullen, dude was ready to kill you straight off the bat, plus he was woefully incompetent at his job a baffling fool and paranoid.

not disagreeing, just showing that for some they view him as an extension from DAO and dont see the redeeming bit because of how he came across originally. If you don't play nice with cullen in DA2 he comes across as every bit as insane right up until the end and by then for many people its too late.
it just shows how diverse the game is depending on how you play the game. some playthrough's cullen is in fact worse.
