I have absolutely no idea if there are any information on the web regarding the Epilogue, nor if the subject has already been discussed in the Forum, so please forgive me if I end up addressing a repetitive issue.
It would be nice if there were a cinematic Epilogue showing the Inquisitor after 5 or 10 years, living his life according to some basic choices he made.
For instance, he could be shown having kids with his romance interest, living in the countryside with an early retirement. If he romanced no one and kept on engaging in military campaigns, he could be shown as a great general, leading an army against an invading country.
If he became great friends with Blackwall and the Warden died, he could be shown undergoing the Joining and honoring some promise he made to his deceased friend, becoming a Warden himself and vowing to rid Thedas of the darkspawn threat.
He could become fast friends with Iron Bull and end up leading life as a mercenary, along with Varric as well.
Or he could marry an Orlesian noble and live surrounded by royalty, enjoying the rewards of a luxurious life. Would he then become a noble and hire Leliana to his service, perhaps? Or even marry Josephine?
He could also die closing the Breach and some of his closest friends could be seen gathering around his grave, talking about how he changed them and affected their lives.
There are numerous possibilities. What are your thoughts regarding the Epilogue? What are your expectations? Will we have a quick chat with our friends and a narration, such as it was with the 2 previous games, or will we be surprised this time?
