I'm confused as to how they don't?

 

They are allowed to vote. Check

 

They are allowed to work. Check.

 

They are provided the same protection provided all citizens in the United States. Check.

 

It is illegal to discriminate against them for work. Check.

 

All rights that are provided to every other citizen in the USA is provided to them.  Check.

 

The only thing I can think of that might possibly not fit that definition is not being allowed to go into a restroom of their choice dependent upon location. Which falls back under moving to a state that more adequately provides for a chosen lifestyle.

 

Anything else is personal discrimination/biases.

After seeing this I am so glad i live in the Great White north.

 

I invite all people of colour to imigrate to Canada, we are far from perfect but its a place I'm sure you will feel welcome in.

 

It blows my mind how many police shoots have envoled young innocent black men this past summer and given all those shootings we don't see police killing young innocent white men and people in the states think equality has been reached?

Laws still have inequalities like not being able to marry (non-hetero couples) etc. But the biggest problem is in practice: society still enforces gender roles and other roles which discriminate people. Women's euro is still not full euro, men are selected in higher job positions just cause their gender etc. There is still long way to equality and I believe it can be never be achieved since humans aren't perfect.

Regarding marriage, that is something that can be achieved by moving to a different state.

 

The other things though are definitely societal and locational. I agree entirely that equality does not exist in society currently, however my argument is that legally speaking the laws have provided every opportunity for it to work it's way towards that. Which falls under the category of rights.

 

Anything else is societal and differing from person to person.

 

But yeah. I'm done for now. It really isn't the place for discussion.

I definitlely agree with the point about the attractiveness of the female characters. There was even a post written by a developer that they wanted to give the characters "flaws" and "imperfections". I think they have overdone it with the female characters. And forgot to do it with some male characters.I don't see Cullen or Dorian having  any of this "imperfections". They both look like models, while not a single female character is conventional attractive. (most are unattractive in my opinion). Just look at cassandra and cullen (both are returning characters and li's for straight people'). Dawn of the Seeker- DA2- DAI-.> she became less attractive with every appearance. Cullen on the other hand became prettier and prettier with every game and looks now like a supermodel.

If there's any way to modify textures, I imagine we will. Unfortunately. I feel like her skin color is just about the only reason she isn't considered "conventionally attractive"

You are free to disagree with me, but simply implying that someone's argument is not even worth your time shows blatant discrimination against a societal view simply because it differs from your own. You can disagree, but feel free to do so in a mature manner. Or simply, as I'm going to do now, ignore the person.

I will say this however, coming from one privileged person to another (Don't even pretend you're not) it's not that hard to figure out that other people from different minorities have a harder time in life than you do for multiple reasons, and what those reasons are (Race, income, disability, sexual orientation, etc). It's also not their responsibility to educate you on why that is. You have an almost infinite amount of information and knowledge at your disposal, so figure it out for yourself and don't demand that people of color or other minorities explain why they don't have the same rights as you do in our society.

I have to disagree. My subjective view says that Cassandra now is gorgerous. Cullen was perfect in DA2 cause his flaws, dark undereyes and noodle hair. Now he has still some roughness like scar and stubble but is more boring looking.

Glad I dont mod.  Ugh! bleh, most mods I prefer staying away from.  That is one of those that I stay away from.  The other is making lesbians or gays straight.

Trans people have little to no legal protection against discrimination in...basically every field of life: education, employment, housing, healthcare, etc. Many states will not even allow them to legally change their gender easily. They are also not protected in the criminal justice system. We are laughing because your argument is so absurd. Trans folk have made a lot of legal and societal gains, but they lack so many of the protections cis people have. They are not the only group that lacks rights in the US, but one of the most vulnerable, so it's why I brought them up.
