Trans people have little to no legal protection against discrimination in...basically every field of life: education, employment, housing, healthcare, etc. Many states will not even allow them to legally change their gender easily. They are also not protected in the criminal justice system. We are laughing because your argument is so absurd. Trans folk have made a lot of legal and societal gains, but they lack so many of the protections cis people have. They are not the only group that lacks rights in the US, but one of the most vulnerable, so it's why I brought them up.

 

I have a trans friend from Sweden, and considering how socialist Sweden is you would expect them to be super chill about it right? Well he got his therapy and hormone treatment for free, but if he wants to change his birth certificate he must be chemically sterilized first. This is basic Swedish practice for trans people who want to change their sex on their birth certificate. If it happens over there just try and imagine how bad it is in the US.

I will begin by saying that I am a straight male. A straight Southeast Asian Indian male to be specific. 

 

I would agree with the contents of and the views put forth on this video if I did not see for myself how the female designs for DA:I has evolved and changed. As of now, with the latest gameplay and Twitch videos shown, I cannot.

 

The reason for this is simple. If one looks as Cassandra's early concept art and early renderings of her, she does look very unappealing. Yet, with each iteration, both Cassandra Pentaghast and Josephine Montilyet looks and designs have changed and I think both of them look nice now with Josephine Montilyet having a better looking face and Cassandra Pentaghast a better looking body, if we were to compare both of them with each other in the physical sense. I mean if that heavy armor of hers can curve so much over the breasts and bum area, one can just imagine how ample and firm she is. Josephine Montilyet meanwhile, looks adorable as ever. 

 

If you look at the very early renderings and design of both characters and the latest renderings and design of them, you will see both have been tweaked and changed, which is what Bioware does in every game. The art and design shown in the video are the early designs, not the latest ones. 

 

That is my take on this. 

 

Additionally, this video is not related to Gamergate in any way. So I think relating this to Gamergate in any way makes no rational sense at all. This is just the view of one guy on the internet and he does not appear to have a large following or anything.
