Yeah, so many in my family are tempting me to immigrate to Canada to have a better life! But I don't want snow and ice!

It's almost hilarious to see US americans struggling to screw open a beer bottle until they finally realize that you CAN'T do that with like 99% of beer bottles outside their continent.

It is most definetely hilarious if you use your mini bottle opener hidding in your palm to pop the cap off and then see how they try it with bare hands, only to fail miserably and thinking you're some sort of beer opener professional.

Though I've also had my share of people cutting open their palms when they gripped tight and then tried to screw it off with all their might. Given the form of stamped caps on beers, that can lead to some NASTY cuts.

We have green leaves for 15 days.

In southern territories the green leaves came out for 30-40 days!

^ It was a mild winter here too. We got one real snowstorm in early December, then the "blizzard", which was only 8 inches, in late February (right on my birthday, never fails) but that was it.

I have a feeling this coming winter will be a BEE-OTCH!

I saw a murder once in Canada.

And I live in a crime infested big city in Texas (i.e. gun capital of the planet)..and once ran in a gang.. and never saw a murder. :P

That said, someone was murdered down my street a couple of days ago. But I didn't see it.

I always thought Canada was a dictatorship run by the friendliest dictator in the world, Tim Horton.
