After hearing the British and American accents for the Male Inquisitor, I'm without a doubt picking British. I'm pretty disappointed in the American accent, it sounds waaaay too deep and rough for my personal taste.
So which voice are you picking for your Inquisitor?

The American male works for dwarf (that's what was featured in the stream the other day). I haven't heard American female or British male but I know the British Actress doing the lady Inquisitor is the same lady who did "Mhairi" in Awakenings and I'm a huge fan. So, since my first run will be a female Dalish, I'm going with Alix Wilton Regan (the British lass).

I think Jon Curry is worthy of voicing my male human inquisitor.

Yeah, definitely Alix for my first one. She is the one who did Samantha Traynor too.

The british male Inquisitor voice was in a lot of trailers.
At first I didn't like it , but it grew on me , and I'm going to use it.
From what I've heard of the British female , I don't like it .It reminds me of ME2 with Jennifer Hale and her bossy tone.
But probably going to use it anyway , I feel like the American voice may be even worse.
Anyway I'm going with English for human/elf ,and American for dwarf/Qunari.

American if it makes sense to the character, English if it makes sense for the character.

I like the American accent for my male dwarf. Curry did a great job and it sits well with the lore. It just sounds great with a dwarf.
My first inquisitor, however, is going to be qunari. Going with the lore, he should have the American accent too, but since I don't want them to sound the same, I'm going to have to go with the British accent for him. Not sure how I'll head canon him as having that accent though.
When a do a female inquisitor, she'll be either dwarf or qunari as well, so I'm sure I'll pick the American accent for her. Don't see myself doing more than one female playthrough, so that one's easy.

I thought the American and British accents both sounded good. I am sure to cycle through them all!

Sumalee (American accent) for my first character, a Dalish mage.

The American accent sounds good for Qunari and decent for a Dwarf, but I'm mostly gonna be a Human/Elf, so I'm pretty bummed out.
One question I have though is do these actors put on a different tone of voice depending on their race, or is it the same across for all?

British Qunari. Can't wait for the game.

British for my Elf, American for my Human, American for my Qunari.
Haven't really heard the American female voice to make a decision yet.

I wish the voices were more different. Not simply deep or deeper.

At the moment, I have two inquisitors planned out, both of whom are mage: a qunari male and a female elf.
For my qunari male, I'm going to have to go with the British voice, as its the closest to what I imagine his pitch would be.
My female elf, on the other hand, will probably go for the American accent, as it seems to fit her personality best.

They say the British fits the humans/elves and the American fits the dwarves/qunari, though I wonder if it will be breaking if I decide to provide my human/elven character with the American voice. I plan for my first human/elven character to be male and my first qunari/dwarven character to be female.
Anywho, my plan is:
Male Human- British (all the human PCs are from/culturally British/Anglo in some form, namely with accents)
Male Elf- American (Elves did have American accents in Origins, and I can imagine there is a variety of accents among the Dalish)
Female Qunari- British (after seeing the stream with the FemQunari Inquisitor and that accent, I can't undo that pairing)
Female Dwarf- American (the American female voice sounds a bit more gruff, perfect for a carta family dwarf)

My first Inquisitor is a female Qunari, so definitely going with Alix. Also, I just adored her as Traynor. No brainer.

I heard somewhere that the guy who did Zevdan is an option. Is that true?
Yes, he voices the American male accent. I think you'd be surprised, though, because it sounds nothing like Zev. The VA has amazing range.
