I will use both of them since I only play female and I will be playing this game alot.

Too tough to fit a human? Odd considering it is a human making the voice. Not only that but human males can have pretty damned deep voices. Also tough is how you act not how you sound, lol.
This is the voice of a 14 year old kid.
Not odd at all. I didn't say it was too tough for a human to possibly do, I said it was too tough sounding to me. I like the voice to fit the appearance, and human/elven appearances in DAI just don't fit the tougher American voice to me. The American voice just flat-out suits a dwarf or Qunari more in my opinion.
Well considering when we first saw Qunari in action during E3 they used the female british voice so any voice can fit. Just gotta make your character slightly differently instead of making him/her like a "tough guy/girl"
I will even link the video
I personally believe its up to the player to design the character in a fashion to make either voice fit and here the british voice fits just fine for the tall and "tough" Qunari in my opinion.
Wow... That voice does not fit the person it's coming out of.

Really? I think it fits just fine its all personal taste at the end of the day.

I'm actually really torn about which voice to use, not only do I think all of the VA's are rather good, but there's also the matter of which voice would suit a male Elf, which is what I want to play as! Also, most Elves (Dalish and City) in DA:O had American/Canadian accents, in DA2 most Dalish had Irish or Welsh accents and the City Elves seemed to be still American and apart from Fenris, I can't recall any elves with an English accent, but I do think the English accent fits an Elf better in Inquisition, the American one just sounds too deep and macho for an Elf, but having an English Elf just seems to break tradition, especially for a Dalish!
But then I saw on YouTube a Female Elf Inquisitor with the English accent - Samantha Traynor!!!! I just loved it, so now I'm torn again, male or female?!?!

American Female. Because the British voice is way too soft for a Qunari.

I will use all the voices, for their intended race: British-Humans and Elves, American-Qunari and Dwarves.
I might attempt using the American voice for a female elf, if only to see how jarring it might be.

Usually I like to be lore friendly but I really don't like Alix's voice. IDK, something about it sets me off and see it as irritating and annoying.
Sumalee however, I quite like.
For male, uh...we'll see. Siding with British one preferably.

I'll probably use both voices for the m!inquisitors. For ladies, I'll probably go with the American accent. I just hear too much of Traynor in the British accent. (I try not to hold previous roles against people, but I can't get past it here.)

All of them. British male, American male, British female, American female in that order.

I've liked what I've heard from all the VOs and I've watched a bunch of streams with each of them. I'm actually pretty torn between American (Sumalee Montano) and British (Alix Wilton Regan), but I may mix and match instead of linking them to their "usual" races as DA has always been a little shifty when it comes to which accent goes to what. I may do American on my first runthrough with a female human mage because the Tower tends to mix it up on whether they're British or American and Sumalee Montano's voice is like woah or stick with Alix for a human rogue/dalish rogue/dalish mage.
But it really depends on the kind of face I make in the CC.

Most likely Alix's voice *shivers* but i prefer her over the American female one at least for my elf.

I wasn't too keen on the american female voice. The british female voice is played a talented voice actress but my problem is her voice is 100% identical to Samantha Traynor in Me3 (no attempt to alter tone. She even has many of Traynors vocal mannerisms identically. I was really hoping she'd have added just a slight alteration to her voice during the performance).
While I like her acting, I dunno if I can escape the mindset of "Inquisitor Traynor" . She sounds and acts so identically to Traynor, vocally, that it will feel like I'm in a weird dimensional rift betweeen universes or something. Ultimately it keeps breaking the immersion for me in any video I watch with her... it's always "that's traynor... not the inquisitor" in my mind. Wish I could escape that mental hangup
I do blame bioware a smidge for it. Most voice actresses / actors are able to change their voice or tone somewhat to be different. They should have instructed her to change her tone or voice ever so slightly during recording. Alli Hillis, Jennifer Hale, Laura Bailey etc all make slight changes to either tone or pitch of their voice depending on the character, enough to make them not sound identical at least to other characters they play in games. But here it's basically 100% the same voice between Traynor and inquisitor from the videos I've seen.
Frustrating
Gives me an idea. I'll try to create Traynor with the character creator, and even name her Traynor. Of course, I'll give her the voice she needs. Which class would she fit? Rogue?

So happy with how good and deep the American voice is. It fits perfectly for a qunari or a dwarf.

British male. For a human mage.
The American male actor sounds like a space marine. Tough, gruff, no emotion. Works good on a dwarf warrior, but would make my human mage sound like a simpleton.

usually my first playthrough is a male mage and then a female rouge but this time, i am going with a female mage first because I love Traynor and her sexy accent in ME and was disappointed i couldnt date her as a male Shepard.
