Since it's already confirmed that the champion of kirkwall is confrimed in the game how do you think the grey warden will appear do you think there will be a mysterious figure guarding morrigan? Also how many of you kept the warden alive and what choices did he make when he died?

Well for a start my Warden is a she.  And that right there is indicative of the problems that mean the Warden likely won't be in the game, except perhaps as a mention.

Kinda rustles my jimmies when people only use one gender pronoun when they're referring to the Warden in general rather than just their Warden. Or any PC for that matter.

Just wanted to say that.

He/she will look like a paragraph of text in the codex and occasional war table mission. They couldn't find the right armor so letters will have to do.

I don't claim to have much knowledge of the English language as a learned-it-cause-it-was-necessary non-native speaker who speaks in Spellcheck, but I think that stopped being true quite a while ago. He/she or s/he works better.

I have no idea why this bothers me, it just does. :S

Your Warden seems nice. What's his name?

I think that's going out of fashion, probably safer to go for he/she.

It kinda sucks, but no, the Warden isn't getting a physical appearance yet. DLC, maybe.

No surprises if the Warden doesn't show up. If the Warden is present then the inevitable outcry regarding Bioware's choice on the Warden's voice and actions in game. 'Oh, my Warden would never have sounded, said or would have done...' etc. If the Warden isn't there, questions are raised as to why one of the most important characters in Dragon Age Origins is not at the races when the world arguably needs her/him most.

I think 'force' would be more appropriate than 'generate'.

I can agree with that, either way it has the capacity to bring about a conclusive ending to the Warden's story

many have been demanding since Inquisition's announcement.

We know The Warden will not appear in DA:I.

My prediction is that the Warden will never make a physical appearance in another game, not only due to engine restrictions but also because 1) some Wardens already died 2) there are more states for the Warden than any other PC or NPC and it would be too hard to execute. The Warden may be mentioned - will be according to them in DA:I (though perhaps not anything new if he/she died) - but mostly they will allow you to keep headcanonning whatever suits you until the Warden goes on his/her Calling. Since 10 years is a possible timeframe, especially with intense contact with Darkspawn like you might have during a Blight, it's possible the Warden's Calling may come early and within the timeframe of DA:I and that might be the mention, but I kind of doubt it. I kind of wish for it, though, just to end all this "When will we see the Warden's story end?" chatter since Bioware has stated the Warden's story is over already.

Wouldn't take much to have the Warden in the game. What I would love to see is the following:

Have a large battle going on, then the Inquisitor or someone(Lelliana!) draws our attention to a group of Grey Warden's leading an epic charge through enemy lines, cutting up everyone in their path. Lead by Our Warden. Have them clad in full armour, don't need to see their face.

If they are dead, have them replaced by some other character.
