Here is a link to a imgur album with screenshots of 90% of the perks we'll have access to. The only ones I'm missing are the Warrior Schematics in Forces and Master Herbalists in Secrets. You can probably guess what those are by reading similar perks.

Link

Hope it's helpful :)

EDIT: Thanks to Spider Pig and Omnitremere for pointing out some mistakes I had in taking the screenshots.

"More Healing Potions" under Forces should add 4 more potions to overall capacity.

"Sterling Reputation" under Connections should be merchants pay you 10% more for items you sell.

2nd EDIT: It's highly possible that Josephine has a couple more perks not shown. I just assumed Cameron highlighted them all but people have pointed out how the arrow is only partway down the scrollbar.

Many of these are incredibly boring.

Yeah, they're not particularly flashy by any means. I think they're just designed to slightly augment your playstyle. Everybody will probably choose all of the Inquisition category perks though since the final one gives an additional ability point.

I like the idea that some of them can also give extra dialogue choices if you studied  in a certain area. Probably like the Mass Effect Persuasion skill that it can help avoid certain conflicts

Yes, but there is like 30 perks that add only a slight increase to XP. Or a stupid store discount.

All I see here are perks from the Inquisition skill tree. Don't we also have access to all the perks from Elemental Magic, Stealth, Two-Handed, skill trees etc.,  depending on which class we choose to play?

Uh...If you mean the abilities for combat trees, that is a completely different system. You can look at those in different thread.

Who Cares, +5% Xp is more than +0% Xp.

Or am I missing something...

What can you not unlock them all?

5% xp is actually quite a lot. Let's say a codex entry is 50xp. With a 5% bonus you get 2,5xp per codex. If you ahve 100 codexes in Duskwood and you're low level, that's 250xp and possibly a level up...I ain't sitting on an xp gold mine

you might get more than just a level up (xp equivalent due to bonuses) with these boosts. Hell, in mmorpg when you get a 1% xp bonus it's a real party

Oh. 5% XP bonus in perks is only for killing foes. All the perks which increase Codex XP gives an additional 50%.

I'm getting the distinct sense the Forces perks will be vastly more useful, with sssome of the espionage perks being major conveniences. I don't see myself taking anything other than the dialogue perk in Connections.

The flavor on the perks is nice. I didn't expect them to be outlandish things - the only ones that surprise me are the unlocking dialogue options (which I like). The rest just sort of slightly add power. I agree they seem a little bland - I do think they all seem well-flavored - but I kind of expected they'd be basic gameplay things like this.

Thanks for compiling these.

I think Underworld Knowledge would fit better as a Secrets perk, but then again I find the mental image of Cullen teaching us about criminal activities hilarious (yeah I know it's not the actual advisors who teach the Inquisitor/Inquisition these things, but it's still funny).

Well, considering what Evangeline suggests in Asunder, maybe the criminal syndicate is where he gets his lyrium. I don't know, I feel like Templars would have underworld knowledge through investigation (based on some lore, Templars actually do investigate lyrium smuggling and other crimes), based on some of the stuff in the novels. I do agree it may seem to fit better under Secrets, but Bards don't really investigate the carta, etc. And I guess Secrets is supposed to be more Bard than general rogue.

Yeah, that's true, I didn't really think about it from the "knowledge through investigation" perspective.

The extra ability point, more potions, additional potion slot and inventory boost are the ones i'll pick for sure, the rest it will depend on my character.

Awesome, I can already see what is going to be a necessity and what I'll only get if I have leftover perk points.

Necessities for sure are any of the Knowledge perks- includes new story dialogue options for criminal, chantry/history, noble/politics, and mage discussion. I like how these are able to be obtained very early on.

I gotta say of the 3 perk categories (I'm not including Inquisition as one) I like Forces (Cullen's) perk category the most.

-Extra XP when killing enemies

-increased party defense

-more healing potions

-increased Focus Ability effectiveness/tiers

-building custom armor schematics

Basically factors of gameplay and combat. Since gameplay is most important to me in a video game (duh), this seems like it will be my ultimate focus.

Leliana and Josephine's perk trees (Secrets and Connections) look pretty bleh honestly, in my opinion they don't look nearly as necessary as Cullen's Forces tree. A lot of it sounds like you can definitely do without them, they're just a neat additions.

Examples of perks I found lacking; Leliana's tree

-10% chance for addition herb harvest

-Inquisition scouts reveal extra landmarks and points of interest revealed ----> You can reveal them yourself...just explore a little more.

-Increased range using the Search Area function ---> Really? That's not sounding very vital. It's neat and helpful, but there are certainly more necessary perks to invest in.

*However it must be NOTED that Deft Hands perk in Leliana's tree is absolutely necessary across all playthroughs.

I found Josephine's tree (Connections) to be the least interesting. Just mostly focusing on buying and selling stuff. The only necessities I noted from this tree is dealing with rare crafting materials and the noble knowledge perk.

This amuses me.  All the people saying "Cullen sucks, I won't use him, want to kill him, etc."  One of the best perks (Unlocking the 2nd and 3rd focus tiers) is part of his purview.
