really?? did any of the devs really confirm this? seems interesting

nope but it is reasonable to assume this is a possibility  because we have been able to get tome increasing our ability so it not that hard to imagine we might get some chances again

Click the pictures, and they should automatically magnify for you.

They become slightly larger, but the resolution is so bad they don't become legible.

I'm sorry? Are you reading it on a laptop screen perhaps?

The resolution seems to be fine on my desktop screen; nobody else seems to have had a problem yet...

That's gigantic...I screenshot it on a 1920 x 1080...maybe that's why...not really sure how to fix your problem.

What build was this....could it be possible that this wasnt the final build and some of the perks was missing, Is that even possible??

I am not much knowledgeable about such coding and programming stuff. Anyone here have a clue? Can it be that a beta build may have some of the perks missing?

I wonder if different class/race will come with a free perk unlocked.

Arcane Knowledge for mages, Underworld Knowledge for dwarf( since you are from a Carta family), Nobility knowledge for non-mage human etc

I'm wondering about this as well, and hoping it works like that. It seems a bit redundant for a mage to have to get the Arcane Knowledge perk to be able to talk more about magic – unless the perks grant very specific and special knowledge that the Inquisitor, no matter their background, shouldn't know yet.

Script blocker most likely.  I couldn't magnify it on my Firefox with NoScript, but worked fine with fresh install of Chrome.

if its 20 perks we can totally do without story based perk rewards...if its 10 i hope then there are few coz 10 is really low. Plus FYI there is already a perk that requires us to capture a keep only then we will have access to it once we lvl up i think

My bad, didn't see those "capture kep" perks. In any case, it might be really dificult to get all of the perks and find the most optimal way of getting them (xp boosts first or dialogue options? crafting material options or exploration perks? etc...)

Does anyone know if multiplayer will contribute to our acquiring perks

It shouldn't. Multiplayer has no effect on single player campaign.

Do we know how many perks you can choose max?

I tweeted at Mike Laidlaw but haven't gotten a response yet. I might try somebody else later, but maybe it's just not something they want to reveal atm.

As if the level cap can be only 10. A lot of games have an achievement for reaching level 10, that doesn't mean it's the max you can go.

It was also mentioned that that achievement was one of the ones that gave you the most points. I doubt it will be so easy in that case. Its more likely 10 is or is close to the max level. Personally Im betting that the max is 15, or that we may be able to get perks through other ways in the game, such as protecting an inquisition fort instead of a village or something.

I hope they aren't as stupid as putting the cap so low, it would be a really bad decision.

This is why mutually exclusive upgrade choices based on tiers are better.

Like they did in SC2

This would mean choices are more meaningful

This would mean the upgrades are abit fewer, but has more impact
This would add to the replayability factor

Not a fan of slight and generic upgrades, Id rather have fewer but bigger upgrades for each with higher actual impact on the gaming experience.

While I liked SC2 :) (I would like to get Legacy of the Void NOW...well, after Dragon Age Inquisition ^^)

But that system is not a good choice for perks (like say you can't have noble-knowledge and criminal one at the same time...well, why not? - Really this is not logical, there's nobles who make deal with criminals (particularly in Orlais with the GAME)...there's criminals who are ex-nobles (banished, lost their title etc.)...) IMHO - It would prevent me from playing my most favourite type of character in an RPG:

The silver tongue - I'd rather talk, scheme, trick and convince people then fight (note: no my characters are not pacifists, but they prefer non-violent solutions - except when it comes to slavers, rapists, violent criminals (except if they are useful to my characters goals - like the ones seen in that gameplay video at the coast, where you learn that you can do another side-quest and challenge their leader afterwards and take them over as soldiers for your cause!) and betrayers (like Loghain or even Gaspard de Chalons (Spelling?) who defied his empress (not that Celene looks all that competent, but she is the legitimate empress...))) and if I don't get all the perks, a lot of choices are locked and that makes playing such a character harder -.-

greetings LAX
