Hello everyone, I just bought a new laptop (Fujitsu Celsius, Windows 7, the graphics card is a Quadro K4000M) and everything appears to be working properly except for one thing, in the upper right corner of my screen there is a tiny red dot (I would post a picture, but it (the dot) doesn't appear in Paint when I paste it there), so if anyone here knows how to fix this, I would really appreciate your help.

It's a dead pixel on your LCD screen.

If it bothers you, you can contact Fujitsu or the reseller where you bought the laptop and see if you can get a replacement.

If it's a red dot it may just be a stuck pixel. You can look up various methods of trying to deal with one, which may mess up your screen even more.

I have a dead pixel on my DS, but it's at the bottom center, so it doesn't bother me when I play on it.

From what I have gathered from the internet, only black pixels are dead, red ones are just stuck, so it should be fixable.

I ordered the laptop online from Germany, since this Fujitsu model can't be bought where I live, so I don't think that I will go down the replacement path.

So far I have tried:

1) Updating the Intel and NVIDIA drivers, that didn't fix the issue.

2) Upgrading from Windows Professional to Windows Ultimate, that didn't fix the issue.

3) This: http://flexcode.org/lcd2.html It didn't fix the issue.

I am currently trying this: http://udpix.free.fr...index.php?p=dl

Have you attempted changing the display resolution to see what happens?

Maybe you killed a mosquito on your LCD. Now some blood is stuck.

I finally fixed it today!  :) What I basically did was take a pen, put a cloth over it and then hit the area where the dot was and the area around it something like 100 times and in a few minutes the red dot/stuck pixel disappeared!  :)

Ah the good 'ol hammer and bash trick. I sometimes wonder why do people pay big money to hire professionals to fix stuff if all electronics seemed fixable simply by bashing...lol.

I had a mouse with a broken right button once and after I smash it on my desk a few times, it fixed itself... true story.
