I'm curious, however. I have to ask... so what's happening internally for the remaining 19 days before release? I do presume that it's pretty much well-deserved vacation time (if so, totally understand it and I hope you guys enjoy every single one of those days to relax). But if it's still not quite vacation time then... what's going on? I mean for Inquisition's dev team specifically (not in the whole of BioWare).
At least a chunk of us are moving onto Mass Effect (or back onto, like in my case), some remaining for release/post-release support, DLC team(s? I don't really know anything of DA DLC myself) are still fairly sizeable I suspect and probably already starting their stuffs. WORK IS NEVER DONE.
But definitely a good amount of vacation is being had for sure.
Also, woo! Gold! Shiny. preciousss

wow, is it not odd how torturous waiting for one of your all time fave developers to release one of your all time fave games???
i find myself borderlining on a ZEN state of mind, waiting for time to flow over my body like water over a stone, all the way to wanting to poke knives in my eyes just to make the pain of waiting to go away!!!!!
yeah, good times.
CHEERS BIOWARE, every game you release instantly becomes a special event in my life!!!
ps- just like my special purpose!!!

I did notice your tweet earlier about moving back on to ME, which made me think the game might've gone gold, which it did. ![]()

Isn't the next Mass Effect being developed primarily by the Montreal studio, though?
I always thought Edmonton would simply oversee the project without much involvement. But I also know nothing. ![]()

Not quite everything was golden at that point, but close enough!

Primarily, yeppers. I know at least a couple are actually moving to Mtl, but some in Edm will also work on ME from there still.

I'd like to point out that I have YET to see you in your BadNewsBarrett shirt. This is a crime. We have to make this happen before Inquisition launches. Get the "bad news" out of the way pre-launch, hahaha

Right on!
I also know about the new project Casey was leading before he left. You guys have barely said anything about it but I personally hope to hear something soon. I'm intrigued. ![]()

This is terrible, but I read this as "Dragon Age Inquisition has GONE WILD!" Ooops. Cue the corny mid-00's spring break music.
Edit:
Oh yes, uhhhhh. Congrats! I can't wait to play your game. I mean, I have to wait, but I really don't want to.

The good news is that DA's gone gold, but I'm afraid I've got some bad news: YOU ALREADY HAVE SEEN

What does he mean by, "gone gold"? The article doesn't explain the choice of these words and the game is not out yet so... Still wondering what these words mean.

It means the game is on to the presses to be published and shipped out to stores.

Nah, he'd need to break his nose and then not bother fixing it. THEN he'd be a younger Wade. ![]()

For me it's going to be a long wait until the Halo MCC. Nothing exciting to play until then. Then I'm going to have to tear myself away from that a short week later for some Inquistion goodness.

I recommend Sunset if you enjoy games that don't take themselves seriously, know what they are, and reference it. hahaha

Sunset is just one of those games that just doesn't appeal to me, personally. I've seen the ads for it, and it just doesn't grab me. No, unless Alien: Isolation goes on sale next week, I won't have anything in particular to play until Halo.

Ahh well, hope you can hold out. I preinstalled Sunset the day before launch and I have no regrets so far. Funny ass game. Worth my time and money. ![]()
Halo only gets a week from me before I put it down for Inq. My hope is that me and my friends can do a legendary run through all four games in a week.
I'll get to multiplayer and such after Inquisition and Unity are beaten.
