Hella, I'm a big fan of Fallen London so this'll be a great distraction when it drops.

Before anyone asks: since this seems to just be something made within the StoryNexus engine I doubt it's the limit of Failbetter's previously announced collaboration with Bioware.
Do you agree with the speculation that they're working on Shadow Realms, then?
(Here's the post in question for anyone who's curious, by the way.)

Is this only available in some places? Cuz I can't find it.
EDIT:
Nvm, I should read more often.

No, if I know anything about Failbetter's style they prefer making a, if not historical, then at least literate gameworld with a very present twist of dark humor. Shadow Realms seems like it's taking itself too seriously and trying to be too edgy with it's hoodies, urban fantasy and reused DAII assets. That's right Bioware; I saw those wall sconces and unmistakable floor textures of hexagonal tiling with some of the tiles removed. Also it seems like it's empowering the player more than a Failbetter game would.

Looks like fun. Can't wait until it gets released. Hopefully before DAI.

Not sure if I'll bother playing this. Entirely text-based games aren't usually my thing. Unless it get's on overly positive response her on BSN or it has some important details for DA:I I'll most likely just look up a summary of the story online.

Ooh, a "free-to-play" game. EA has a such a good track record with those I can't imagine this being unbalanced as to be unplayable without a cash deposit at all.

Did someone say free?
You can buy a currency(Dawn) to make the game go faster but you can play for free.

What interests me is that it says your choices are recorded in the Keep, could we get references in Inquisition?
They said that your choices could show in Future games. So it would be more likely that something we do in this game will impact DA:4/5

I've been waiting so long to hear what would come of the Failbetter/Bioware collaboration that was announced ages ago! While it isn't the AAA Fallen London RPG I dreamed of(and knew would never happen!), I am still really excited to jump into this. Hopefully enough people support it that it leads to ongoing updates like Fallen London has.

No, "Project Redacted" is The Last Court.
That's what I assumed, but Blackout62 seems to have a different opinion.

1. I'm a huge Dragon Age fan so I will play this so I don't miss anything. They even said it fills in the gaps so it's going to be important.
2. It's free so I may as well.

Well, Failbetter seemed to unambiguously confirm it a few hours ago...
It seems like a pretty big project if it takes a week to finish, and it's full of branching choices and all that writing.

Your right it's French so the last letter has a subdued pronunciation like most French words and the "r" is softened so it sounds like Maw-kee.
The 'r' is not softened; it's just that the 'r' in French does not (at all) produce the sound of the r in English. It's actually nearer the 'ch' sound in Gaelic and identical to the غ in Arabic. As we have trouble perceiving sounds that we don't produce in our native languages, it's often misheard by English speakers. ![]()
Marquis is one of those titles that the British took from French (in the Norman Conquest) and later butchered the pronunciation of. Thus while in France it is pronounced 'Maw-kee', in English it is as they say here XD
Actually, in Old French, the letter s in such positions was by no means universally silent. We can't export modern pronunciations to the 11th century. In many cases the English word and modern French words drift equally from the Old French one, just in different ways. ![]()

I've heard "a little over a week from now" and 2 weeks. There hasn't been anything official though.

Dragon Age: The Last Court
November 1, 2014 · Tagged with Dragon Age, Failbetter Projects, The Last Court
A while ago we revealed that we’d been collaborating with Bioware on a secret project. Terrible oaths have kept us silent. We wrote our names on a page of flesh beneath a weeping moon. But now we are released from our promises. And we intend to spill.
We are proud to reveal Dragon Age: The Last Court, a very Failbettery game set just before the forthcoming Dragon Age: Inquisition. It will be playable in your browser and features the text-driven, story-rich gameplay that powers Fallen London.
In Dragon Age: The Last Court, you are the ruler of Serault: an eccentric fiefdom at the farthest ends of Orlais. As the Huntress or the Scholar you’ll guide your realm through the most crucial period in its history. Will its ancient Shame be forgiven? Or will Serault fall into obscurity?
This is a game of lordship. You’ll manage the affairs of your court. You’ll choose a counsellor, a bodyguard, an accomplice and a lover. You’ll balance the concerns of your subjects. Will Serault be renowned for its dignity or its freedom? What is the greatest threat: outlaws, revolutionaries, or the the nameless ancient things that slither in its deep woods? There are stories to explore and secrets to unravel. What lies in the Sealed Chantry? Who is the Horned Knight? Who is behind Serault’s recent troubles? You’ll meet a host of new characters, like the Purveyor of Teas and the Acerbic Dowager. And maybe you’ll run into a few familiar faces from other Dragon Age titles…
Working with Bioware has been something Alexis and I have dreamed of since we used to build modules in Neverwinter Nights. Or maybe even earlier, around the time Sarevok killed Gorion. Damn you, Sarevok. We can’t quite believe it’s actually happened.
The Last Court will be available soon as part of the improbably sexy Dragon Age Keep. We’ll be shouting about it the moment it’s live.

In the last keep stream Justin said it should take about a week for you to complete so I'm guessing at least a week before DAI comes out due to the import choice from The Last Court.
