Rank the various hub worlds we've visited during the trilogy, from best to worst.

I'm not native english speaking by the way.

My ranking:

Silversun Strip (ME3 Citadel DLC) - By far the best hub, mostly because there was a lot to do, and I love the wards!

ME1 Citadel - A great hub world. The Presidium is a bit boring after the first few times, but the wards are still one of the best locations in the ME universe.

Illium/Omega (ME2) - They are about equal to me. Both are great, but I may like Illium just slightly more than Omega, even though I liked Omega more the first time I played. I like how Omega is basically the dark version of The Citadel.

Illium gave me a little more insight into asari culture.

Zakera Wards (ME2 Citadel) - I don't like that we couldn't explore the Presidium in ME2. Zakera wards was good enough, but not as good as Silversun Strip or ME1 Citadel.

ME3 Citadel - It wasn't bad, but it could be a bit depressing sometimes. Especially the Embassies I found rather lacking. I liked how they had som subtle music playing in the background, since I didn't like the lack of music in ME2 hubs.

The main game Citadel also lacked the wards, a mistake they thankfully corrected with the Citadel DLC.

Tuchanka - It was small and cramped. Interesting, bur small. Not bad, but i'm not sure if I should consider it a hub.

I don't count Feros or Noveria, even though I know some disagree. I also have never played Pinnacle Station, though I may do it some day.

I'm not entirely decided on the Shadow Brokers Base.

Now i'd like to hear other opinions.

1: Illium

2: Omega

3: Citadel

Illium is my number one place because it is a neo-noir city with lounges, flying cars, and attractive girls.

Silversun Strip is my favorite without a doubt. It was big, active and had plenty of stuff to do. Mech fights, varren races, virtual hero games, spaceship game, claw machine, cups with vorcha, hanar urinals.

Citadel (ME1) I loved looking out the glass and watching the Destiny Ascension go by.

Citadel Wards.

Omega.

Noveria, for some reason or another.

None of the others stand out as worth mentioning to me. That doesn't mean I didn't like them, though. I hated how ME3 took away all the hub worlds. I loved the hub worlds, even if I'm not good at listing specific reasons why for this list.

Honestly I blame Silversun. It spoiled me.

I also go for Silversun Strip as first, especially if you do the Citadel DLC when you're supposed to do it (just after Priority: Horizon). Apart from being a great location, it just has a fantastic ambientation, with all those war veterans telling their stories and such. Besides, it's hard to ignore the phycological factor that it is a small oasis of peace in the middle of countless battles you've had (and in case you haven't had enough action (or if you just want credits), there's always the Armax Arsenal Arena :D).

As a second, I'll go with ME1's Wards. They're just great, especially for first-timers on the series. Great ambientation, too.

All the rest are pretty unremarkable IMO.

Illium is by far the best hub if you take into account the missions that spawn off it and take place there.

With that criteria, omega is second.

I have to agree, if based solely off what hub world has the best quests Illium was great.

Though outside that I never enjoyed Illium. It always felt like a hassle to get around for me. Though I have an insanely poor sense of direction so thats probably part of the problem.

Plus I kept having to hear that damn Volus buying the best suit money can buy because he has extremely high requirements. Oh, and volus selling stock on prefabs or something...

ME3 Citadel/ Silversun strip - I'd combine those two since the Silversun Strip isn't really a seperate hub, it's just an addition to already existing one. It's the most alive and all the portrayals of the Citadel throughout the series, and with the most to do aboard it. ME2's version of the Citadel was a very small and ME1's version largely felt like empty space rather than a city.

llium - The interiors hallways and such are kind of boring, but the cityscape beyond the area you were running around in was beautiful. Also like Von Uber said, it is home to some of the best quests in ME2.

Omega - Really just because of Afterlife. That place was loaded with atmosphere. The rest was kind of meh.

Novera/ Feros - Fun missions but the hubs were kind of boring.

Silversun Strip.  Definitely a lot of fun.

ME1 Citadel. I really liked it even though I got lost the first time I played.

Ilium. Looks great. And has Liara.

Omega. For Afterlife.

The others were 'meh'.

Except Tuchanka, because you got to see Wrex and headbutt a battlemaster.

ME1 Citadel was fun the first couple dozen times I played it, but after that it kinda became a chore, even if I could still totally buy into Ash's reaction to the Destiny Ascension, and the three humans looking out over the ward arms across the way from Flux -- I still love that scene.

I loved ME2 Citadel even if they downsized it, for all the life they breathed into what was leftover.

ME3 Citadel was a delightful (for me) combination of the two.

In order of preference:

1) ME1's Citadel (the best Hub of the series, in my opinion, mostly due to the atmosphere)

2) ME2's Citadel (smaller than ME1's, but well-detailed nonetheless)

3) Omega (although it really isn't that large of a Hub)

4) ME3's Citadel (gets overly depressing as the game progresses, but the atmosphere wasn't badly-done, it "fits" well with what's happening in the galaxy)

5) Illium (loved the art/design, fits very well with the Asari, felt very 'sci-fi', looked all technological, clean, polished and rather 'elegant')
