Iron Bull is my prime suspect. He's a Qunari spy. 'Nuff said. But I need evidence before I act any further.

I'm just going to throw this out there, but...

This game is (suppose) to be all about choices.

That said, I wouldn't be surprised if all, or at least most, of the companions could have a "breaking point" and chose to betray you.

I mean, that would be like choosing "oh, who will betray you in Origins?" when Shale, Zevran, Leliana, and Wynne can all betray you if the conditions are met for them (and then there is Sten, though I'd argue his is more just challenging you than outright betrayal or anything). And, in DA2, Isabela will abandon Hawke unless she has enough rivalry/friendship, and if you don't have high enough affinity with most of the other companions, they can turn against you depending on which side you go with at the end of the game, as well.

As for the ones I see the most likely... I'd have to say Vivienne, from what I know of her so far, seems like she'd be the most likely, since she is quite ambitious and depending on the Inquisitor, they might butt heads a lot. Considering Iron Bull is with the Qun, I imagine there might be a "breaking point" similar to Zevran, where he is forced to decide between the Inquisitor and the Qun, for whatever reason. I could see Sera betraying the Inquisitor depending on how they treat elves, and Blackwall might also have a similar dilemma to the IB scenario I just mentioned... It seems like something fishy is going on with the Grey Wardens, so in Blackwall's case, it would maybe be mind-possession and his willpower dependent on the strength of his relationship with the Inquisitor. And even then, there is a plethora of variables with the other companions, like allegiances we don't know about.

Needless to say I'm excited.

...And I will probably be saving my game. A lot.

Only one companion has a name that, if you slightly change the pronunciation, comes out to be "Soulless."

Like in the previous two games, it's all dependent on you.  Don't be a jerk to your companions and you'll find that you won't be running into many loyalty issues.

You will all regret letting Varric keep that lyrium shard, calling it now.

*Gulp* I let my companions do what they wanted!

Hopefully I don't return to skyhold one day to find Varric has sold all the furniture to fund his red lyrium sniffing habit!

LOL. To be fair, Solas also means "pride" in Elvish and also "light" in both Irish and Scottish Gaelic!

More like he ate all the furniture because the Red Lyrium made him bat-**** crazy.

Solas is probably up to something. We know nothing about him, he learned magic on his own and his romance was Female elf only because Bioware believes it will make super sense in the story.

If she's still alive in your world state, Queen Anora. Especially if the Inquisition's ambitions differ to her own. Though

I'm not sure what kind of role she'll have in Inquisition.

Flemeth & Morrigan can never be trusted.

Mark Darrah: "These are characters who can challenge you, support you, fall in love with you, and maybe even betray you over the course of hundreds of hours of playing."

Who's going to stab you in the back?

theres was a similiar thread to this before, i suggested Vivienne cause she is "the ambition" it could also be solas since i believe he was in the spot judas is in the last supper concept art of inquisition. plus solas is all about the fade, maybe there is some reason he would side with the eldar one? could be morrigan, but i don't think it will be her. Iron Bull perhaps? he is a Qunari (Qunari the religion, not qunari as the people) i'm still thinking its gonna be vivienne.

I could see reasons for nearly all of them to betray you.

Varric is positioned as Judas in The Last Super, and his betrayal would blindside most.

Cole betraying the Inquisitor do to naivety or misjudgment I could see.

Vivienne is described with an emphasis on ambition, which could lead to her betraying you.

Iron Bull could betray you for the Qun.

Dorian is from Tevinter, which warrants at least some suspicion.

Cassandra, Blackwall, Sera, and Solas, I can't really see them betraying the Inquisition.

I'm hoping that more than one companion can turn on you. Would make for more replay-ability. eg: Playthrough #1 I hated on Viv, she goes bad. Playthrough #2 This time I treat her the best, but hate on I.B, so then he ends up betraying me. Would be a big tick on my score sheet for the game.

It better depend on the players choices, as I've said time and time again, if it's already set for a character to betray us in every playthrough, then that intitial sense of surprise is completely gone after the first playthrough which as a result would make me completely avoid that character from the next playthrough on

I'd say it might be Dorian. The guy seems like a loyal friend, but for some reason he distinctly reminds me of Lando from Star Wars
