Sentinel. None of the other classes even come close.

Tech Armor > All the unique powers besides maybe Singularity, but it's still much more snazzy lookin'.

I'm not worried about the lack of weapon choice since you can learn how to use at least one of the others supposedly anyway and accuracy won't be much of an issue for my Sent since he'll be right up in people's faces just daring them to shoot him back.

Soldier. My ME1 save (Will be once I get the last couple of planets (And 100,000 exp) out of the way) is lazing around awaiting importing.

That said, it looks like Adepts and Engineers are a lot more versatile this time around, so we'll have to see with those two.

Vanguard.

You know, the badass one.

Mind and lead. Frontlines. First in, last out.

I am going to stick with Infiltrator. Even in ME1 it was already sweet to bring down massive geths with just one shot of the sniper rifle, plus I love the new implemented stealth for this class.

I've always enjoyed playing rogue/stealthy characters, so I can't wait to see this feature in action. :)

One of two. I haven't decided. Either:

Soldier: Because I love playing a tank and want to use the Collector stuff, which is soldier-ish stuff in general. :) And I actually really like the looks of how they did them with the new Adrenalin Rush. I wanna do a tank soldier, who get massive HP boosts, /and/ the Collector stuff adds 20% to HP, so. LOTS OF TOUGHNESS.

Vanguard: Because I like playing in your face fighters (see above to a degree, Vanguards are just moreso). Because I love Biotic Charge. :)

We'll see which one I settle on first. :)

Are we forced to play the same class as our ME1 save, or can we change it? I played a paragon soldier and then a renegade adept. The adept was much easier than the soldier.

Change at the start due to heavy, heavy class rebuilds.

I'm going with Soldier for my first playthrough on my L59 Shep. I might go Infiltrator at the last minute, but I'm likely to stay Soldier.

I am continuing as my Sentinel. Their versatile direct damage is supposedly invaluable on insanity, but even before knowing that I was planning to stay the same for two reasons: class loyalty, and tech armor. I am a sucker for pretty lights.

I tend to play a couple games simultaneously. So... adept, and probably soldier, though I'm not entirely sure about the second (might switch to engineer. They seem like an interesting class with a unique style.)

Sentinal, Tech Armor, nuff said.

I was a Vanguard in ME1 but ME2 Sentinal has what ME1 Vanguard Had. So basically they swapped names. Im just stickin with the same abilities.

Vanguard since my main FemShep was one and I like the changes Ive seen to it so far. My second Shep is an Infiltrator and I also liked what they showed for that one so I'll keep that as well when I start it up. Any after that if I get to them probably Adept.

Vanguard with Advanced Training in Sniper Rifles.....

why?

because my Shepard in ME1 was a Vanguard, Because Charge is an AWESOME unique skill, Because with a sniper Rifle a Vanguard ios lethal both at long AND close range

Vanguard...

When i started mass effect 2 I only used soldier and Adept. However, vanguard is just ****ing fire....

Shockwave and Charge are amazing. Pull and cryo ammo are amazing as well.

I'm starting a Soldier first, because Bioware admitted they'd do the most damage. I don't just want to kill my enemies, I want to leave a fine gory mist and the scorched refuse of those who oppose me in my wake. It helps this if you have an LMG that you only fire from the hip.

Vanguard on my first playthrough. I want to be able to rush straight into the fray and make short work of enemies in close quarters. Then I'll try out Adept and then Sentinel or Infiltrator.

I am going to continue my very first playthrough, Christian Shepard Sentinal

Why? Because I always want a little bit of challenge and having limited gun use and have to rely on squadmates and tech/biotics made ME1 intresting. (I actually found later playthroughs to easy as my tactics I learned from a Sentinal playthrough helped make me unstopable later. And now they have tech armor and some of the new cool biotics definatly going to keep playing here.

I'm going with Soldier. I like how they are described as having ocular implants. The soldiers in ME1 felt like a simple grunt (although I still loved that class). I'm glad that they gave the Soldier something that makes him special, story-wise.

In the first game I never really liked the feel of any of the classes except Vanguard (Lift, Throw, Barrier and a Shotgun just seemed unbelievably powerful to me when choosing which class to play). In Mass Effect 2 the choice is far more difficult but the Vanguard still seems the best for me due to the shotgun, Push, Charge and because it's what the character I'm importing is.

On the second playthrough I will probably be a Sentinel with Push and Shotgun if that's possible as the Tech Armor seems incredibly useful and if you can choose a weapon and a skill, that's essentially what the Vanguard in Mass Effect 1 was. If this is the case then the Sentinel will become my new "main" save and will use the decisions I would make.

After that though, it'll just be a case of what mood I'm in as they all look fairly good (except for, in my opinion atleast, the Infiltrator as I never liked the Tech powers and I don't like the look of Cloak either).
