It is a really simple question yet no one has answered it yet. Can I change the colors of the weapons and armor I create in Inquisition without effecting the stats?

I know that to change the color requires materials so it is not as easy as Mass Effects armor system. All I really want to know is if this system will let me build the armor I want or if I am going to have to choose stats over looks.

Thanks

P.S. Thanks Bioware for the hard work and congrats on going gold :D. I cannot wait for my Inquisitors Edition to get here!

No, the two are tied together. Each material has a range of colors though.

However Bioware said they are looking into dyes so people can do this.

What does each material has a range of colors mean?

It is still a bummer.I remember Bioware saying "You will be able to create pretty much whatever armor you can think of". Why is it so hard to create an armor system where I can make an armor look the way I want with the stats I want? I do not want to choose between looking cool and having good armor.
